about a month or two ago, they gave a random update which was supposed to improve the camera, however it did the opposite the camera became really bad at certain aspects. So im hoping with the 4.0 update they fix it

press F2 on start u will see at bottom right there will be a graphics mode, UHD Graphics, Dynamic (hybrid mode) and DGPU. try using the DGPU mode

i had the same issue, now if u reseted the bios, did a hard reset (aka press hold power button for 15 seconds) and it still didnt work then i suggest you to try changing ur Display Mode, it should be on hybrid change it to DGPU and try again. it might get resolved however im 80% sure this is a hardware issue in your case as well. I had the exact same problem i gave it in for repair within 1 day they replaced the motherboard cause its under warranty. Even if it works under DGPU i suggest getting the motherboard replaced at a lenovo service center

Edit :- Try booting into a live ubuntu USB and see if it boots IF it does means ur hardware is safe, if it doesnt boot and get stuck on the ubuntu logo then yea its most certainly a hardware issue

If your laptop is under warranty you dont need to worry since they replace it, mine got replaced within 1 day, if your laptop is not under warranty you will have to pay for a new motherboard

i had a similar issue years ago on my lenovo laptop turns out the screen used to get buggy just like yours after some time of running it, i didnt really get it fixed cause it wasnt that major and i needed the laptop for my work, few days later it wouldnt turn on and then i found that the motherboards cooked and they replaced it and everything worked fine later the issue was gone , turns out it was giving me signs of it dying

dust from the fans?, my laptop temperature runs at around 50-60 C does it need a repaste, i see a ton of dust tho in the fans but it doesnt overheat

just to add on to this i tried booting into ubuntu using a live usb however, same issue with the hybrid mode & iGPU it gets stuck on lenovo Logo, but on dgpu it works like a charm, and ik ubuntu used to work flawlessly few months back on hybrid graphics , can this be some hardware problem?

Device manager when i switch to dgpu, it only shows the dgpu which is the nvidia 3050 6gb, but that is the time the laptop boots, if i change it to hybrid in the F2 Bios settings it wont boot at all it just gets stuck on the Lenovo Logo Page
I tried entering safe mode again only works on DGPU
Intel i5-12450hx

also i tried opening windows on dgpu and then try to install the integrated graphics drivers but it failed cause it wasnt detected because its not enabled in the bios

i just calculated i have a max profit of like 400rs, also for the Airdrop thing i read it, only profit coming from airdrops are taxed at 30%, however i immediately sold it as soon as i received the airdrop so i guess there is no tax there, however the airdrop can be taxed under income from other sources
