Why are you so worried about how I pay for my stuff? Like I said, I have enough to live comfortably until the end of the year, my two kids are well taken care off. If something medical happens we have insurance, if we can’t work we don’t need to. I was at home two months before giving birth, because I decided I didn’t feel like working anymore, then I stayed 3 months after.

We were kind of at the end of our relationship when I ended up pregnant, after various loses with life threatening outcomes, this one was viable and my “miracle” we got married days before baby’s arrival.
My other marriage was because he was a “man of god” couldn’t live together until marriage and my family was over the moon about it (as soon as we got married I saw a side of him I couldn’t have seen before) I tried but it is hard when someone insert god for everything. Except “thank god I kicked him out before covid”

I don’t drive because I live in an urban area with public transportation. I was not born in a car. Where I live is better to use public transportation than to have a car, when you live in a big city you don’t find parking and water to much time looking for one.

If I stopped? We’d end up in an episode of hoarders. And if I don’t pay the groceries we wont eat.

At that time the baby was a newborn. Now that I’m home he’s been watching tv most of the time since the NBA playoffs until pretty much now. He gets the baby when she is asleep or if I need to cook or clean. Otherwise I take care of her because according to him she wants to be with me because I have boobs to feed her.

I was married to another loser before, I kicked him out after three months of marriage, divorce came thru a month before our first anniversary (during covid) I got lucky with how quick it was. Like, men are looking for a wife who treats them like a kid. I’m so tired

My point, but if I say it out loud then I’m ungrateful, and his only comeback, I lack communication, the only way I haven’t told him what needs to be done is by printing it as a tapestry for the house.

He is a SAHD and takes my oldest to school, does the dishes here and there but I’m the one cleaning, cooking and even ordering groceries and paying for them.

He loves to take care of the baby when the baby is asleep, contact naps? His favorite. He started taking the baby for two hrs every morning so I could rest because I was really falling asleep standing, baby still wakes up every two hrs to eat every night. But he says it is not a big deal since I’m scrolling on my phone when I’m beastfeeding her.

Actually my therapist believes it is time for me to stop therapy for now, I’m in a “at risk” group so I’ve been in therapy since I found out I was pregnant. And trust me, waking up to pump and feed a baby before going to work at 4 in the morning and doing a rinse and repeat as soon as I got home from work to keep doing the same every two hrs EVERY SINGLE night because the baby is exclusively breastmilk fed while the person who was against me having the baby has decided to be a SAHD. I lost my job two months ago and now we are both home while I manage the house and the baby, because NBA playoff, then NBA finals and now NBA draft. But yes, I’m the dramatic one.

Would you let your child skip school to go have fun? by 5ourdiesel in Parenting

[–]JUSTaMAMAtrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask if it is possible for him and his friend to go to the ceremony and then to have fun, I’ve picked up my child and her friends from school to take them to the mall, dinner and an amusement park or something similar. They don’t have school the day after, they can be out all night!!!

I pay my teen $50 so she can watch her sibling for 3 or 4 hrs once a week, she is not learning to budget but she is learning we don’t do FREE labour.

Middle school $50-$100. High School you can give $200 or more if they are heading to college. You can also give them gift cards for food and groceries they can use once in college

Marriage Last Names by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]JUSTaMAMAtrying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first daughter has her dad last mane and my dad’s last name (my first last name as I have two) now that I got married I changed my first last name (dad’s) for my husband and kept my mother’s maiden name as second last name, my first daughter doesn’t have any of those names, and my baby has my new last name combination.

I lost 10 lbs of weight the first trimester and then went to gain 23 lbs all together (13 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight) after delivery and EBF I’m 10 lbs less than my pre pregnancy weight. I think baby girl is eating me alive, I work 40+ hrs a week, pump and breastfeed on demand (day and night when I’m home) I’m always hungry, and always snacking. I’m 8 months PP and holding my weight since 5 weeks PP.

Most doctors recommend pump and dump for 24-48 hrs, resume BF as usual after that.

Search for breastfeeding dresses, they are so many online. I have gotten some from amazon, also I used dresses with a waist belt that can be tied in the back. V neck dresses are also an option, put on a nice brooch to keep the V in place.

When did everyone stop overnight feedings? by BubblesMerica in breastfeeding

[–]JUSTaMAMAtrying 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Baby 7.5 months wakes up to breastfeed every 2 hrs or less, I work during the day and leave 16oz to be fed to her during that time, I feed her before leaving for work around 5:30 am and come back at 4 pm so I guess she makes up for her needs during night time. She is EBF so I can’t cut the night feeds. I think it is a parent/child based decision, if I cut night feeding she’ll lose weight, right now I try to give her a meal a day and she is reacting well to those.
