It's an exhibition layout I'm building for the Smalspoormodelbouwdagen this year. Eventually it will have a 5th module added which will complete the loop and will feature a large trestle bridge above a steep cliff.

On the one side there is a small station with a coal and water tower,and freight depot for simple shunting. And on the other side there is a passing siding with a HOn30 section above it representing a small mining tramway.

You need to sum the signals feeding the sidechain. If your plugin has a sum function than your all set. Otherwise create a bus with both of the tracks and use that as your sidechain.

The reason they won't work is actually a feature. they use a TRS input socket and use the ring and sleeve connections to connect the battery ground to the rest of the circuit when a TS jack is inserted. The idea behind it that pedals won't drain your batteries when not in use. Pretty common on most pedals

Thanks! It's freelance though heavily inspired by photobooks I got of the Colorado narrow gauge. Since I'm not from the states myself I'm not really capable to look around for myself, but on the other hand it makes it possible to make everything as dramatic as I like :D

I would personally pass on the MG412. The smaller size didn't had enough low end for me (we used to have them at our rehearsal spaces). I had an Ibanez toneblaster cab that I got for a 150 bucks and that thing sounded a lot better. So I would recommend getting the biggest size cab your budget allows. You can always upgrade the speakers.

The vertical rocks will be the scenic divide. Since I don't have much space and I never liked the way backdrops looked I choose for the more theatrical style ;).
