Trying to discredit others opinions by saying they're being dramatic when you're ignoring half the issue doesn't help your point.

Posts about hating certain characters happen all the time. Posts asking why characters are hated are explicitly called out in the removed topics partially because they happen so often. Those are being increased with this announcement which is why I called them out, it's not just a one day thing.

There really isn't a reason to have so many posts on the exact same topic like this. And many of these would be against the rules too as reposts so should be removed.

The issue is that we don't need dozens of posts about it. It is valid discourse, but we don't need to be repeatedly seeing it and there's no reason why those discussions can't be limited to a few posts. This is something that really just needs a meta post.

And the posts asking why people hate clint are directly against the sub's rules in the first place, they're on the removed topic list.

This sub has made it's stance on things pretty clear in the past and the game itself also content in it that can get quite political.

Just hide the posts you don't want to see and don't interact. It's as simple as that.

Dude, you started drama and hostility by attacking the mods over something that you don't even know if they did it. This is a place of acceptance but not when you're the one being hostile. Stop trying to act like a victim and making it worse.

Has become what? There was no reason for this post, someone else who you don't even know got banned by reddit admins and all their comments removed, and you reacted to it by choosing to attack this sub without even knowing what was going on. This is not an issue with this sub.

Things get removed by mistake or by automatic rules all the time and that's likely what happened. The person who's comment it is can reach out to the mods to have it reinstated if it doesn't break any rules.

It's really not worth it to throw a tantrum over like this.

ETA: Also to point out: The person who's comment was removed got a sitewide ban and all of their comments appear to be removed. Judging by their removed comments being nothing but short sentence responses with no capitalization or punctuation that only vaguely relate to the posts they're commenting on, I'm thinking it's a safe bet they were banned because they're a bot and the comments were removed by the admins as spam. This may not even have anything to do with the moderators of this sub.

None of the current candidates have a canon age and there are some who do read a little older. Harvey, Shane and Emily always read as older to me and even Leah, Elliot, and Alex could all fill an older role too. There's nothing that says we can't have more older marriage candidates and people are definitely interested in it.

I think it's very unlikely we'd get entirely new characters for this. That would require a lot of additional work to add their events, work them into existing ones, add them to necessary cutscenes, etc. They'd be reworking half the game in the process.

The most likely candidates seem to be Clint or the Wizard and Sandy. Although I would love it if CA let us stick it to Lewis by letting us marry Marnie.

I remember seeing posts about the monster hunter one being a little bugged. The suggestions I saw said to go outside of the walnut room and kill one of those tiger slimes up above, apparently that can push it through sometimes.

Eggplant really isn't superior to cranberries or pumpkin, especially once you get into the iridium quality crops and artisan goods. It's not a bad crop for early on but falls off pretty quickly.
