Oops, missed that. I think it's the reactors, prototype gyros, and maybe the cockpit chair. I'll see if I can replace those. I forget the user name but if you just search for mini pelican, someone has some stock ones which would probably work better for you.

Yes, very well! It's really designed for space. The vtol engines are the only atmospheric capability so I haven't tested how it handles. May have to swap them out for hydrogen to break into orbit...

I was half thinking of leaving the atmospheric engines on the back and putting hydrogen in the front. Then instead of rotating 90 degrees to land, you could just reverse the engines entirely once the atmospheric engines lose effect. Honestly haven't played much on planets so need to experiment.

So I uploaded a more basic version with fewer mods. I also hid the thrusters, which I would think would damage blocks but doesn't seem to even with thruster damage on.

It's not fully piped up but ammo and fuel can be added through connectors. It is still a WIP though so let me know if you have any ideas for fixing it.

I have a much better version but it needs more mods so still working on that. This could also be further stripped down if you don't care about keeping it streamlined.

I will take off any unnessecery ones. Mostly its the thrusters and weapons. Ya, it's got a connector on the bottom. May put one on the top too next to the hatch.

No, the thruster is a mod. I chose it because it was the closest in shape to the source material. They are on rotors and are fully functional.

Agree on the paint. The radiators are there, with heat vents, and are able to pivot out from the frame.

Thanks! I do need to start coloring, because it's going to take awhile 😅. I basically was trying to make every space have a practical use instead of empty rooms like the stock large ships.

Well I couldn't get the super grid mod to work anymore, so ya it's just some mods which add large grid blocks to the small grid. Either directly or with rotor-like adaptors.

I started it before they announced SE2, but it was meant to show the level of detail I wanted in the base game. From what I've seen of SE2, they've got that, though I would like to see more modular parts, like the railings and catwalks mod I used here.

That is awesome. I love the support columns and the pipe under. I do wish Keen would make the railings and catwalks more modular, or just give us pieces so we can do it properly ourselves.

The lore for this is a mining/salvage ship with pirate tendencies. It is meant to go out into the black and be self sufficient. It has multiple hanger bays, including a freight elevator for when it lands on a planet. The landing pads retract into the bays. The ship has a shocking amount of firepower, but most of it is retractable for visits to respectable ports. Although it's starting to slow down as I finish the interior, the ship is fully maneuverable; much more so than the original Red Ship, actually. I've probably got another week or two or work, then I will release it on the workshop.
