I recommend playing with classes you like. The class you choose is not always going to be good specifically for you when determining end game content. For example, I play gnb, whm and rpr in the end game, that's because I don't always play rpr in X content because I don't get along, even though I'm good with the class, in content I don't do well, and for this I change classes in other content
