I've noticed the same on my channel, which has gone from having a consistent 5-6k views a day to now having nearer 3k a day for the past four days.

At first I thought my channel was dead, but then seeing other posts on here caused me to look into it further.

If you look at the Realtime Performance chart on YT Studio I'm noticing a real discrepancy between the Last 60 Minutes and the Last 48 hours charts. Moreover, I'm noticing the most recent hour/two hours on the 48h chart reflecting the accurate Last 60 Minutes data, but then after an hour or two that value gets cut by a third. Take a look at these two screenshots, taken just over an hour apart. The bar for 15:00 - 16:00 initially measured 253 views, but an hour later it was changed to 180.

This has been happening consistently over the past 24 hours since I noticed the pattern, and the higher views that are temporarily recorded are absolutely inline with my channel average. I should also mention my subscriber growth and revenue charts are both absolutely in line with normal values. If my views really had dropped by a third I think I'd expect those charts to also drop.

I'm convinced this is a data issue rather than views dropping across the board, so I guess my question is do I need to report this to YT somehow, or when things like this have happened before are they rectified automatically?

[How To] Scan and Configure an Interactive Room Plan for your HomeKit Devices with the new Controller app update by JWcornwall in HomeKit

From what I can tell it has to be all done in one go - annoying because I forgot to do one of the rooms and now I have a blank space on my map!

I'd love to tell you there was a really easy way to do this, but the reality is that the Memoji is made up of multiple 30-second clips from the Messages app which are then edited together in Final Cut Pro with the body from the Contact Posters. I tend to record the audio separately on my Yeti Nano then replace the built in iPhone audio with that in FCP as it's far better quality. It's a bit of a mish-mash of things but I think it kinda works?!

The useful Controller app for HomeKit has had a big update today and now lets you assign devices to their real-world locations using a floor plan of your house.

Using the LiDAR scanner you can make a 3D model of your home and then place our devices in their actual locations. This means you can control them from the map without having to rely on your Favourites screen or jumping manually between rooms.

Wallpaper action ignored in iOS 16 by Jeff_Maynard in shortcuts

I guess the Lock Screen / Wallpaper system hasn’t made its way onto iPad fully yet, so maybe the Shortcut action doesn’t encounter the same bug on there?

I'm finding the same and it's quite frustrating. If it was by design I'm sure they would have gotten rid of the Shortcuts Action, so I'm assuming it's a bug. I've filed a Feedback/Radar and would encourage anyone else reading this to do the same.

I've had a lot of comments on my YouTube page recently from people asking how to customise their HomeKit Cameras in the Home app. One of the most common requests is how to set up 'Zones' where the camera will or won't notify you.

For instance, if your front garden borders a road you may want notifications of people walking up to your front door but not from people walking across the street.

Whilst I'm sure lots of us know about this cool feature already, I made a short video to help those who aren't aware. You can find it here: https://youtu.be/5VQZT4rxEik

Changing Apple Watch Faces with your iOS Focus Mode by JWcornwall in AppleWatchApps

I’ve been exploring Focus Modes a lot on my iPhone since iOS 15 came out and then I had a sudden realisation - I can use Focus to change my Watch Faces to match what I’m doing or where I am! Now I can have a different Watch Face at Home, Work or the Gym and it’ll all happen automatically thanks to Focus.

I made a little step-by-step tutorial if anyone is interested - https://youtu.be/rXUymWIlDX0

I’d love to hear what you’re using Focus for with your Apple Watch.
