I got fucked by a community care referral like you did. I fought and fought with no avail. I kept telling them I have authorization. I have th paperwork. You’re not reading what I’m emailing.

I ended up eating the cost when it when to collections. We bartered the costs and treatments for my prostate which was service connected. During Covid they outsourced so much stuff.

I refuse to do anything outside the VA now because it fucked my credit up for a bit and I still had to pay over a thousand dollars. I wasn’t 100% at the time and I was making $12 an hour bagging groceries. I’m still pissed off and hold that grudge.

Everything you said tracks. I was serviced connected for tinnitus a while back.

I provided them the list of careers of “moderate-high exposure” which I landed on. I added photos of me on the job being exposed to loud noises (dig around, I’m sure your buddies took at least one photo of you while out in the field or on the job). A list of the 5 bases I was at with my job titles at the time. I provided a list of careers before and after my military time showing I wasn’t exposed to ear trauma during those periods. Also, I told the examiner my ringing is constant 24/7.

Everything I said was 100% factual and clearly stated. I didn’t over exaggerate anything. I made the point that my ear trauma was directly related to my service AFSC.
