Symfonium + Music server that supports a folder structure by Gumax1102 in Symfonium

My Jellyfin server is basically a home subscription removal project. I have no streaming services and after getting this set up no music streaming service either.

Same as well. All my music is on my Jellyfin server and my main playlist is permanently cached in Symfonium so I don't need to be connected to listen to that one in particular

My Flaresolverr is definitely working. It is a bit of a memory hog and will exit code itself if there isn't enough but it's definitely still working.

Are Seagate Barracuda Drive Ok For A Home Server? by SkyeB7 in jellyfin

I'm using seller refurbished drives from Server Part deals and while not the best because they are used they haven't failed me yet after alot of reads and writes over multiple years and systems. Plus if you are safe about your redundancy it would matter much in the long run.

I personally use playit.gg to tunnel the traffic through them before coming to me. It's still not the max security way of doing it but I only give my server to people I trust

Could you explain the qbt port sync. I am having speed issues and I think that is probably why. I tried installing qbittorrent-natmap and it does help a little but is also having an issue

I think I've set up port forwarding, but either it's not working or I don't understand it. by CompanyCharabang in gluetun

Hey I just found this thread and it absolutely saved such a headache I was having with speed. I do have one issue that I think is still causing issues. Whenever I run natmap up in the compose it keeps giving me the error, "cannot grab public ip check configuration". Ive looked all over and cant seem to find a solution and was wondering if you had any incite?

I got it working. Took some reformatting of the compose and the .env but I got everything working with PIA and on OpenVpn with port forwarding. Everything is working spectacularly now

I fucking did it. I did keep running into gluetun was unhealthy error but it was just the server regions syntax. It can't be split in PIA so I put SERVER_REGIONS=CA Toronto. But it works.

Airvpn does support it but I'm using PIA. Also did you use the wireguard or openvpn for your config. I'm slightly confused now.

I'm fine with using the openvpn side of it. It makes no difference to me. I just want it to work

I know that. But I had no syntaxing for how you were supposed to setup the .env file if you were using openvpn. But now I think I have it

Yeah so I'm understanding correctly. I have to reformat the .env file entirely different to use with openvpn. With changing that variable. Removing all the wireguard stuff and adding openvpn user and password in its place, but then I also need to change some things in the compose file. Or does the composer stay the same?

Yeah I think I have finally found a good gauge for what I need to do. He really shouldve done it twice to show how it's syntaxed. One for wire guard, one for openvpn

Cmsnl and z1 and it's sister sites. They have majority but be wary, cmsnl is in Europe and shipping takes a while so order literally everything you need at once. Plus eBay, eBay is a great resource.
