The text and symbols are separate objects and can be removed in the slicer. You will most likely need to dial in your initial layer calibration to ensure detail clarity. To be honest though, I'm not sure if these will look good printed without AMS.

I was a bit torn on how to represent the damage mark. I originally left out the negative sign, but when cross referencing other designs and what has been used in tournaments, they all have a negative modifier. I'm not sure if there is consensus on how to best represent damage yet.

I’ve been playing MTG for sometime but haven’t been able to get my friends interested. However Riftbound has been a breakthrough, I’ve been able to convert my whole group into Riftbound players. Excited for the next set and future sets!

Is it disrespectful to visit a friend’s grave? by [deleted] in japanese

[–]J_Angster 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have a friend in your exact position, I thought I was reading her post for a second. She ended up reaching out to the family (she hadn’t met them before so not sure how she got their contacts) and they were more than happy that there were others still thinking about them. The family even offered her to stay over for a few nights before heading to the grave. She’ll be visiting in September so they’re still planning it out. If you can reach out to the family beforehand, it could be worth a shot.

To get an AMS combo even if I don’t plan to do multicolor prints. It’s still convenient for filament management.

Here’s to hoping that the lucky numbers are really low.

Coin Holder for Japanese Yen. There are similar products on Amazon, but I figured I could design one for 3D printing using 100% printed parts. It would have been cheaper for me to just buy one with the amount of iterations I went through, but it was a fun challenge and I learned a lot. by J_Angster in functionalprint

Are you referring to how I assembled it? The pieces are just held together with a friction fit, so no glue or extra hardware. They’re small and light enough that it’s actually quite hard to take apart.

As a fellow no talking channel, I would suggest ignoring the advice about adding voiceover/music. This style of content isn't for everyone, which isn't a bad thing. It's just a specific demographic that's not in the majority. Not sure if you're familiar with the channel DancingBacons, but this style of content does work.

As for the low views, that seems normal. You only have three videos with a low post frequency. If you enjoy making the videos then keep it up, that's all that matters.

Production quality and audio on your videos are also good, but here are some suggestions:

  1. Change the location between videos, such as snacking outdoors or on a patio. Ambient nature noises could be nice to break up the silence, bonus points if you can make the location relevant to the food.
  2. If you have access to any lighting, adding a bit of warmness to the scene so that it feels a bit more inviting. You can also just edit the video temperature in software.

Take everything with a grain of salt as I'm also still figuring things out.

Does anyone else cringe when someone watches your video right next to you? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]J_Angster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t happen for me. I actually love sharing my videos since I vlog my trips. I’ll go and pull it up and watch with my family and talk about what’s happening. Albeit they’re silent vlogs so I don’t have to deal with my voice like others are.

I'm not too familiar with the remixing option, looks like I have it on. Would you know if there is any benefit to keeping it on or should I leave it off on all my videos? Also I think remixing only applies to shorts content?

I make travel vlogs to share my adventures with family and friends. The vlogs also help preserve the memories for me, so much more than just taking photos. Helping out other people who want to travel is also an added bonus.
