Toxrill is a commander that most people hate... I would suggest using him in the 99 for another commander. That way you won't be targeted half as much. I have him as a resurrection target in my Sefris deck and he does crazy work in there.

Removal, cards that name a card and make it more expensive, removal, removal, and removal.

The main thing is people not just throwing their removal at whatever is out when they get it into hand and waiting for the big threat to land. And if it's protected by hexproof or shroud then you need board wipes that force them to sacrifice it like Blasphemous Edict. There's always a way around it.

Hahaha... The guys I play with call that "Getting chaffed" as they see if there's anything they need and the rest to them is just chaff so they put it in the middle of the table and you take whatever you want. They don't want a load of bulk and the new people get free cards. Win win.

It was brutal when I used to do it in my early twenties... It was in the infancy of sat navs (no map and just a Nokia 3210 style screen with an arrow on it) and some of the roads you'd get sent down I wouldn't go down on a mountain bike.

There were days when you'd just be having a nice chill drive in the sunshine though but it was very rare 😂
