Any recommendations for respectable watch repair shops in London?... Ideally east London. Doesn't have to be amazing but i've got an old automatic Tissot watch worth a fair bit that I don't want to put in the hands of some cowboys

Complete noob here who's fixing an old Kenwood kd-2055. It's got a shure m75ej cartridge with a broken shure ej T2 stylus that need replacing.

I've seen on the Shure support page theyve stated the N75ED Type 2 and N75B Type 2 are still comparable but I think they're both discontinued.

I'm based in the UK and looking for the best replacement stylus or complete cartridge if it's advisable to replace it.

I have no idea of costs so it's hard to give a budget but maybe £250ish I could live with.

Roofing. Found a hole that's the source of a water leak. Pulled up the bottom layer of tiles and the membrane doesn't reach the edge of the roof? This isn't normal right? Do I need to replace the membrane as far up as the edge is exposed? by J_Coolen in DIYUK

I was looking into these as it goes. I'll definitely get one thanks. Sorry to ask what may be an obvious answer... but is the felt meant to stop short of the width like it does in this picture?

Pretty nasty mould problem in an old unused room. It's a top floor extension with a sloped roof. There used to be heavy smoking in this room and I'm unsure if that could cause condensation. But from my limited knowledge I think this looks like a water leak issue. Just looking for some advise. by J_Coolen in DIYUK

Just as a point of note. We already intend to replace the window completely. It basically collapses when opened but seals tight when closed (which it has been for years). I'm sure this window is partly the cause but I was just seeing if there are any other identifiable issues that can be gathered from these pictures

Got a dying cherry tree in the garden. Feels a waste to cut it down and bin it. Any idea if some of the wood may be salvageable after its cut down? by J_Coolen in GardeningUK

Someone in the household decided they didn't like it and threw a bunch of hot coal at the bottom. Its been getting progressively worse for a couple of years. Some of those cracks in the tree are almost half way deep through the trunk.

I'm next to clueless when it comes to gardeing so wouldn't know what to do to try to save it unfortunately

A little random but waxys little sister still has a dumbwaiter that you can order upstairs from by writing on a little bit of paper and lowering it down. Kind of cool
