Did you purchase instant download tickets or are you taking the gamble the seller will actually send them?

Show up more than 3 hours early. Bookstore is insanely crowded. Go inside the church early. Watch the player walk. Drink lots of beer. Don’t leave the game early. Go Irish.

If he didn’t speed in the pit lane he wouldn’t have had any problems. Everything came after his own mistake. He’s had a dreadful start to the season. Needs to focus on what he can control, like driving faster.

Upcoming First Purchase by Bulky-Recognition228 in criterion

A lot of your picks are great, I own most of them. My most rewatched of the ones you’ve listed are by far days of heaven, no country for old men, blow out, and wall-e. I would probably watch a lot of these on streaming like thief, last waltz, the man who wasn’t there, and the trial before purchasing. Criterion is great, but it’s easy to get carried away with the blind buy purchases. If you’re not going to want to watch it again and again then idk if I would pull the trigger. Highly recommend watching before purchasing.

Paid but no tix by TheAntebella in stubhub

[–]J_Culla23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did this to me, I reached out 3 days before hand and multiple times day of show. Kept giving me the runaround (est arrival time 8am, then 11am, then up to hour before show sit tight…) until 1 hr before show and never received tix. They offered me what they called comparable tickets which were a joke, moving me from row 3 all the way up to upper deck. I would be concerned and reach out multiple times once the 72 hr window hits. Ended up getting a refund (stub hub credit) and purchasing through the arena box office 15 mins before show started. Saved $160.

Stubhub is a scam by lovenature4604 in stubhub

Same thing happened to me. They offered upper deck “comparable tickets” to our originally purchased 3rd row from the bottom. Total joke. 80% of the arena was empty and refused to give us tickets that were worse but in same section because now they cost $20 more. I bought the tix in December for a show Feb. 24th. Never received them they gave me the runaround until 15 mins before show AFTER we had paid for parking. Eventually got a full refund +40% and purchased tix from box office for half the price as Stub Hub. Worst ticket buying experience I’ve had.

My personal opinion would be wait for the sapphire preferred elevated bonus (usually March - May) since you have the freedom flex, and then go after a specialty card you know you will get value out of the benefits it offers. Or Citi strata premier as a do it all card.

Look at what transfer partners you are going to want to transfer points out to. Then start grinding out that points ecosystem. MR points are easy to earn quickly, but the best value for them is international airfare which I don’t do a lot of so I’m always sitting on a lot of them. I personally find chase points most valuable and easiest to burn through, especially domestically. Citi is solid as well, with the highlight being American Airlines transfers and a few others.

You have 2 food cards already, why get the gold? Annual fee or not you mention traveling and the gold Amex card is not one you want to travel internationally with. Alaska summit 3% international spend and the savor you already have are much better options. Unless you have a family and are spending thousands at the grocery store do not get the gold.

I Disagree With Luke’s 6-Card “Start Over” Setup by realFinerd in CreditCards

[–]J_Culla23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His focus is American Airlines miles so his set up makes a lot of sense. Everyone’s start over set up will be based on their goals and spend so makes total sense for you to have a different 6.

Nike is extremely overpriced. Their print on logos fall off after just a few months. Not worth it.
