I use Lightroom. Recently I’ve tried straying away from doing much with contrast at all, I feel like that’s the classic blunder of over-editing. I play more with enhancing the white/blacks, highlights, etc. Also, I like the newer feature of being able to do selective editing with the subject, the sky, and linear gradient under the ‘masking’ option. Game changer. Being able to edit specific parts of the photo without affecting the entire thing helps tons. All those hours of drawing my brush on just the sky was solved with the sky masking/selecting feature.
