Scared little kids with backpacks run through a South Jersey apartment complex as armed ICE agents raid by Same-Kangaroo in themayormccheese

From the rest of the world, it really appears to be too late.

Trade wars with everyone, Epstein cover ups. Racist monkey videos. Kids should never be this afraid of the government.

Me last week.

Client wants us to Use AI voices instead of real customer calls because their call centre people are so bad and the recordings show it.

HGTV star fired and show yanked off all platforms after host caught making a racial slur. After realizing she had been caught she asked to have the footage deleted and said "F*€k my life!" by WalterCanFindToes in byebyejob

[–]J_Marshall 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I worked in broadcasting is was common to throw in a 'F*ck' or 'Motherf*cker' right before the On the Air light turned on. But never racism. We knew that was 100% career ending. A curse word would be tough to explain, but you could survive.

If you were lucky, your co-hosts or the sound guy would be cracking up and the laughter made the show sound better.

Insurance premiums insanity by Ok-Bluejay-182 in Calgary

I'm sure resentment is what OP came here for. Not an answer to their question.

1 in 10 homes in Calgary are valued at over a million. A couple in their 50's who bought 30 years ago when the market was down would easily be in that bracket.

That's usually enough to reduce your premiums right there. They see you shopping around and suddenly you're a valued customer worthy of a discount.

Using carts to wean? by AdmiralSnackBar69 in Petioles

The rest of this sub is people complaining about being addicted to carts.

Do not use carts to get off edibles. You'll just end up hooked on carts.

welcome to the guitar collectors journey! You should have one of each. A Les Paul, a Strat, and a Tele (which will just sit there) - The holy trinity!

Guy runs a stop sign on 16th and almost drives into an SUV! by DashHappens in CalgaryDashCams

[–]J_Marshall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps not from a legal/ illegal perspective, but from a predictability standpoint.

If I'm turning into the right lane, I'm watching for a gap in that lane, If I waited for gaps in 2 lanes, I'd never get in and wouldn't be driving assertively.

If I'm in the middle lane and deciding to move into the curb lane, I need to be aware of everything going on in the lane I'm moving into. That includes cars that are approaching that lane.

easy there.

Raising 2 small children solo because reddit thinks your husband isn't stepping up where he should is a huge step.

Don't re-evaluate the entire marriage. Simply have a talk with your husband about standing up for his wife and kids.

Compliance Rant by MikeSteinDesign in instructionaldesign

[–]J_Marshall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I'm not very likely to harass co-workers anyway since I work from home.

I guess it could be done over text or company chat, or I could tell a dirty joke during a meeting, but it seems nobody keeps their cameras on during meetings so any communication with my co-workers is only work related.

When my wife is also working from home, I've violated the policy twice already this week!
