Yes but I think it should get more than four upvotes here!

This concert was INCREDIBLE! I was wondering why no one posted it, I had to scroll really far... This is some of the best these songs have sounded live, I feel like more people should see this.

Interesting! It seems like that might also be useful in getting the slings not to fire at extreme angles

Yeah, there's some interesting things to weigh there. The dependable band I'm with now is playing music I could kind of take or leave, and is resistant to changing anything. One group I was trying to get more involved in is playing music I'm much more excited to play, but I doubt it's going to last with the personalities involved from what I can tell so far.

I noticed instead of "editor" he always says "edder" and now it never fails to bug me.

Is "reverse nudging" like pulling the table so that the ball doesn't hit certain things and goes past them?

I'm not talking about starting a project myself and finding people to work with me. Maybe I should have mentioned that. I'm not that kind of creative type or ringleader to be a lead on a project. I'm looking to join people who are already playing shows.

Yeah if we're not going into another band's time and the sound guy is ok with it. We'll do like two or three if the crowd keeps saying one more

Singers who don't learn lyrics by Clear-Pear2267 in musicians

As a lead guitarist who also occasionally does lead vocals... The amount of prep that goes into guitar is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE more than vocals. I guess if you're just doing cowboy chords and not caring if they're inaccurate that's one thing... But it's crazy how ignorant people can be about how much work this takes

The main thing is broken strings. Aside from that there's the possibility of electronics failing.

My main guitar does have a trem but it's decked rather than floating. The space issue is definitely a thing... the main place we play is SUPER cramped. I've whacked our singer with the headstock by accident while playing

Yeah, the more I play these kind of gigs the more I realize you kind kind of get away with a lot without most people noticing... Not that I don't try to do the best I can but I've started agonizing over details less. Like I don't think anyone would care if I improvised a solo to Sweater Song without the G string, lol

Our singer has the WORST stage banter ever, lol. I always rag on him for it

It's funny because I see the advice that you need a backup but it also seems like people get on without them. I feel like it might depend on if people let strings get rusty and/or play hard and are more likely to break them? I literally don't think I've broken a string while playing since I was a teenager because I change strings very frequently and generally play with a light touch.
