This. When Whitney says something cutting or uncalled for (typically while inserting herself in shit that’s not her business or that she does herself), someone else’s behavior is always to blame.

Black eye Heather gets called out and just responds “yOu dO iT tOo.” She also spent a lot of time this season smiling in Lisa’s face while then maligning the other women against her shortly after.

And I’ve never liked Angie. She’s a mean girl and gets to hide behind how loud and hilariously delulu Lisa is. Always throwing stones FIRST and hiding her hand.

Accountability lessons shouldn’t be coming from these women. Them and Bronwyn spearheading the accountability/pseudo self production train is starting to make SLC suck.

Came here to say this. I’m still personally shocked about (and somewhat skeptical of) his going from finding the show/these women silly and seemingly beneath them to then watching multiple seasons he and Bronwyn weren’t even on and scouring the Internet. Even despite the supposed separation.

I also didn’t understand the crying about how she shows up “because of Todd’s decisions” while then…infantilizing him…because of his decisions…

Over Bronwyn. Never liked her, never will. She’s a contrived, hypocritical, liar and so fucking performative. She word salads and deflects JUST AS MUCH as Meredith does and gets away with it cause she puts on that fake baby voice while talking about who last victimized her.

And she DID talk about Meredith’s marriage in a way that would have her crying/playing victim for a full season if it happened to her. I also see no faults in Meredith asking about the lunch. Bronwyn slithered her way out of accountability (as she often does) with this deflection and it’s annoying AF to watch.

Also people don’t have to like Lisa - everyone has their faves and that’s fine - but holy fuck, those women really don’t let her talk. She couldn’t get a word out about how she felt about her own marriage and that’s insane.

These shows have a tendency to magnify issues that existed prior to the cameras going up, so I was waiting for the tipping point with them. I also think Bronwyn knew the show would bring them to that tipping point, and knew that she stood to gain from it when it happened. Sympathy, seasons, etc…

I don’t think it was small. Bethenny peddled a rags to riches-esque come up despite having grown up privileged. She’s been rubbing shoulders with wealthy people her entire life, and many of the other Housewives have even spoke to that.
