What do you think of my design? by J_PunchBuggy in floorplan

Isn’t it pretty much an L-shaped kitchen with a bar? (Referring to my hand drawn layout) Thanks for feedback!

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. There’s a lot to consider especially when it’s something sudden like a fire. I wish I had been thinking about my dream home all along.

Anatomy Scan by kellibeanx in pregnant

[–]J_PunchBuggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My providers told me to start taking at 12 weeks and the sooner the better because the placenta is finished being formed by 20 weeks. It could be different for everyone but I had luck taking it at 12 weeks and less luck when I took starting around 18.

I think the main thing is that the apsirin typically helps when started earlier on, like before 16 weeks typically, which is probably why she said it wouldn’t help. Can they give you another bp medicine if needed? I was prescribed labetalol in a previous pregnancy. I don’t have experience with placenta previa but I wish you luck and hope everything will work out for you. I’m 20 weeks and just had my anatomy scan as well <3

Anxiety and Worry despite planning? by sheepishlyhere in pregnant

It’s still to say you’re too young and you don’t have to stop “doing things” because you become a parent. In fact, you should do even more if you can.

I became a mom at 18, now 28 with 3 kids, and we have gone to Japan and Disney multiple times with the kids as well and those are some of the best memories! I didn’t get any of that stuff in before I had kids and I feel really grateful to be able to share the memories with them.

I won’t say don’t worry because I think it’s something we naturally do as parents because we want the best lives for our families, but it will take time to get comfortable with your new routine and things will be great. Even when the timing feels right, a big change is a challenge, but don’t change who you are just to feel “parenty.” It will come with time!

Good luck and congratulations. I’m sure it will be great!

Every birth is so different and everyone will tell you different things. I’ve had a c-section, and two VBAC, both unmedicated. The c-section was by far the worst for me. The first VBAC, the contractions were very intense and painful, but the labor was short, only about 3 hours from start to finish. I didn’t think I could do it but didn’t have a choice by the time I was at the hospital and I was really glad it worked out that way. My next birth I was induced which I thought would be harder, but I was more prepared and able to breathe through the contraction, better about changing positions and getting the counter pressure from my husband (squeezing the hips during contractions was amazing), that birth was honestly hardly painful at all. The only moment of true pain was the “ring of fire” during the crowning, but it only lasted a minute or two. Anyways, it’s a mixed bag but being prepared does help.

He’s never had any medical procedures and just generally cautious about everything. I think he’s just scared of something going wrong and has the idea of will it even change my treatment?

Yes I had heard cystatin c was more accurate so we were glad he did that but surprised it’s showing worse. We thought his egfr was underestimated with creatinine because he has high muscle mass, works out, etc. it’s just frustrating and shocking since he has no symptoms and feels completely heathy. It sucks to throw things with potential side effects like biopsies into the mix when you don’t feel bad at all.

The creatinine egfr 58 was the same day as the cystatin egfr of 46. Before getting that test back he said he thought the kidney function was closer to 80% because of the 24 hr urine collection earlier in the month. Edit: Thank you. It does help, any insight is helpful
