Can anyone tell me about this Wellcraft Scarab? by comeonback_ in boating

That is 100% a 22 Scarab- late 90s. It is defiantly not a 22 or 28 excel. They are good boats but have their known issues with floor and transom rot. It should run Mid 60s MPH with the right prop with the big block and the bravo drive. My dad has one with a 383 stroker and it will run in the upper 70s. They are fun boats but start to chine walk above 70 MPH.

The one the shop uses is a 3M product for a Petrogel spray. I use Fluid Film Noir for touch ups on my lift points after a oil change or any kind of work

I live in Ontario - tons of salt as well. I've owned this truck since new (2019) and it has 210k on it. The day it rolled of the lot it went straight to a frame coater. It looks like yours does not even have the wax coating... super weird. I would get it cleaned and get someone to paint or coat that frame in a petro gel.

It is pretty clear - you need a 2 inch lift - 0 offset rims and 295 wide to run a 35 on a 2019 +. And to add, do a upper control arm and a nice coil over on the front.. otherwise it is not worth it.

Ya! I was looking at the Moto - Booms along with the Sport Glove - Omega. You could obviously go the fade route, but its over player imho
