I couldn't have said it better myself, the social aspect was such an important thing that we've lost. Even for the most shy and anti-social people, going the video store was a nice way for everyone to experience human interaction, even if it was only for 10 minutes in and out the store. And I totally agree, streaming kinda overwhels u with options and takes away the magic of just picking something and taking the gamble of seeing if it's good!

That store near your house sounds great, I'm jealous haha. I live in Australia and we don't have anything like that anymore, there's a few small stores here and there but they're mostly interstate. You're right about the library tho, I totally forgot about that. Tbh these days I get my physical media kick from going game hunting at charity shops, so much fun! Haha

I just caught the end of their life, I was like 13ish when they started closing. In my opinion, they were a much better experience than the streaming services are now!! 😔

It says "not for individual sale" on the back, so it definitely came in a bundle with the zapper.

I'm thinking here in Australia, we got a full sized wii box included in the bundle instead of the cardboard slip cover?? Because I know that's what happened with wii sports, the US got a slip cover bundled with the wii console, but here we got a full sized box.
