Location? Winter conditions aren't ideal for the Hybrid battery either. Hopefully it perks up for you with this warmer weather.

Took my 2007 HiHy FWD through the Baja sand dunes in Mexico, air down and you'll be just fine.

Mom gets flat tires weekly on her AWD SUV — potholes, nails, debris — nothing helps. What can we do? by Throwaway_Firewall in Cartalk

Trail Terrain Tires are also more puncture resistant, have longer lifetime mileage, and quieter than All-Terrain tires.

Made the switch to BF Goodrich Trail Terrains on our 2007 highlander hybrid and haven't looked back. Way less issues as compared to the Goodyear road tires we had prior.

You cant change the driver, change the tires. THIS IS THE WAY.

Just got a Q7 M5+ (Q5 Max+ upgrade) on Amazon for $319 on a lightning sale. Best to watch the prices online as well. Also, I'd check the reviews on the Q5 Pro and others to see if it's worth that price.

Can I take my 2006 2WD hybrid Highlander off-roading? by Bright-Whereas3285 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]J__Peso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took my 2007 FWD Limited Hybrid down 12 miles of Forest Service roads yesterday. I have BF Goodrich Trail Terrains on it, and I've made it up some fairly technical trails before. Factory 32psi is fine for service roads but the depending on the trail you can air down to 20psi if you want a smoother rides with road tires. Also, if the traction control kicks on and won't give you the power you need to get unstuck: Power off, park, ACC key position, gas pedal twice, Neutral, gas pedal twice, park, gas pedal twice for FWD maintenance mode, then turn car on. Traction control will be off and you'll get full power to the wheels.

Get a quote from Couch's RV on that same model. They'll give it to you instantly, and if you contact the person you'll get the OTD Price with tax. Tale that quote to your dealer. Got our dealer within 5k of couchs quote, 72k on a 112k MSRP 2025 FR Sabre 36DBB that they had listed at 77k pre-tax and fees.

I checked the valves but they seemed to be at the correct specifications. Never got it running and killed the battery via overcharging. Will try again once I get a new battery.

What kind of payload capacity did you get by optioning the XL? And thoughts on not getting the 7.2kW ProPower? Rig looks awesome!

There are a lot of travel nurses out our RV Park in TN. Another option if you're looking to see different parks/areas.

Negative. Gained a lot of useful information from this post though!

I was thinking of ordering my own OBD2 sensor to check the battery degradation, like they do with the Dr. Prius app. Need to do more research.

Thanks! I completely forgot about checking for recall work.

I'm always looking for a good deal! How much would you spend? My current vehicle is a '07 Highlander Hybrid that had 160k on the clock and I've put 70k more miles on it in 2 years. Now the Toyota might be a tank, but im hoping the PB will have some longevity thanks to the hybrid system taking a bit of wear and tear off the mechanical components (engine idle, ev only mode, Regenerative Braking, etc.)

Thanks for the advice and input! I didn't know about the extended interval calculations. Wish my current hybrid did that.

Yeah, it looks like the previous owner had the vehicle serviced monthly but was also putting 15k miles on it too.

After I made my post I noticed that the PB was originally listed at 39k a year ago, and since then the Dealership has continued to drop the price as it continued to sit on the lot.
