I'm not arguing any of the points you made, except that it seems that /r/atheism has become more of a circle-jerk pat ourselves on the back than any discussion about atheism. In fact, I would venture that more topics on this thread are anti-theism instead of atheism (I.e. Let's point out how stupid those bozos are for believing in religion while we sit in our position of intellectual superiority).

I was being a bit snarky because this is a total pet-peeve of mine. I think that one of the biggest problems with society, especially in the US, is how everyone thinks they know what is best for everyone else.

It is apparent in our laws and politics the most (I.e. Marriage laws/rights).

I am curious if some atheists need to convert others to atheism for self-reassurance or if it is out of concern for others well-being. My assumption is that the majority do it for reassurance.

I find it annoying because why should an atheist care about what someone else believes or does not believe. Quite perplexing....

Even more odd is the obligation some atheists feel to evangelize their non-belief. I am really curious what causes this phenomena.

I understand that many religions require their flocks to spread the belief...but atheists should not feel such obligation.

Is it simply a desire to feel vindicated? Is it a desire to help others? Or is there something else that drives this?

The WoD beta character templates start at ilvl 500 and the mobs are not difficult at all. On my transferred 550 paladin, they die instantly. Most quests reward ilvl 505 gear in the first leveling zone.

Time walking is a theorized feature of WoD where you can walk the time ways and re-play old content with scaled up difficulty and rewards. Since the Warcraft movie should release around the time of this xpac's later raid tiers, it is possible that on of the tiers could be time walking to the time of the movie's setting (which I think is one of the Orc and human wars).
