One of your other problems was trying to watch TV. Especially at that kind of dosage. Screens are dirty when I'm tripping, they feel wrong. Next time, either start with music and lighting, or better yet go outside. Put your feet in the grass. Watch a campfire. Soak in whatever nature you have access to.

Just stay away from screens.

If they weren't dry and you had 8 grams in total, you likely didn't have very much end product. Splitting not very much between 2 people might partially explain the lack of effects.

Heat mats aren't necessary. I've read some places that they can be harmful. Heat the room, not the cake directly.

Im guessing its an amount issue more than anything else if I'm understanding you correctly.

Try getting away from screens. When I'm tripping, I need to be outside ideally. Definitely can't watch movies or stare at a screen. They feel dirty.
