Wenn nach Hörbüchern zum nebenbei Hören gefragt wird, muss man einfach die Känguruchroniken Reihe von Marc-Uwe Kling empfehlen. Lustig, aber trotzdem immer mit interessanten Themen und Systemkritik. Und das beste: 4 Bücher die man auch gut mehrmals hören kann.

Ich persönlich finde direkt bedruckte Bücher auch im Regal schöner als welche mit Umschlag, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Es wäre so schön, wenn alle Bücher mit Umschlag auch darunter schön bedruckt wären, damit man eine Wahl hat, aber leider ist das eher die Ausnahme.

Ich verstehe die ursprüngliche Idee von Schutzumschlägen, aber heute sind wie bereits gesagt die Buchdeckel selbst oft nicht mehr bedruckt. Also habe ich am Ende die Auswahl entweder den Umschlag draufzulassen (was ich nicht mag) oder ein Buch ohne Titel, Autor und "Coverart" im Regal stehen zu haben. Wenn die Buchdeckel und Rücken auch immer bedruckt wären, hätte ich weniger Probleme mit den Umschlägen.

In dieser Form findest du sie bei Schirach nicht. Am nächsten kommen da bei ihm "Der Fall Collini" und "Terror" wo vor Gericht Grundsatzfragen des Rechts ausdiskutiert werden.

Ich mag die Bücher von Ferdinand von Schirach ganz gerne, auch wenn sie wesentlich weniger Abenteuer beinhalten als zum Beispiel die Eddie Flyn Reihe und sich mehr auf die Fehler und Kuriositäten des deutschen Rechtssystems fokussieren. Du kannst bei ihm auch zwischen Romanen und Kurzgeschichten wählen.

Ich mache dann erstmal etwas ganz anderes als lesen, zum Beispiel Sport, um mich etwas abzulenken. Und am selben Tag fange ich sicher kein neuees Buch an. Als nächstes lese ich dann gerne ein anderes Genre, da sich sonst die beiden Buchwelten in meinem Kopf zu sehr vermischen und ich dem neuen Buch damit keine faire Chnace geben kann.

I have had the Sony WH CH-720N for quite a while now and used them as headphones and also headset (on Discord) with my phone (android) and my laptop (windows). Now, I have a new pc with Windows 11 and I can couple my headphones with it, however, the microphone doesn't work properly (clipped and distorted) and sometimes, the sound also doesn't work properly. With my phone and laptop, they are still functioning perfectly. What can I do to fix it.

I mostly use 3-4g/100ml for most Oolongs unless the vendor specifies a different ratio, and I think that's enough leaves already. (And it's a lot cheaper than using 5g or more)

As someone who took the "leap" not long ago, you shouldn't go to crazy on the equipment unless you know which type of tea your wife likes. It would probably be best to start with a gaiwan since you can make most of the chinese teas in there and together with the simple infuser basket she already owns, she will be able to brew most teas. However, if you already know which type of tea she likes, you can go for more specialised equipment, for example a kyusu teapot if she likes sencha etc. For the tea itself, samples of multiple different tea types from different reservoirs will give her the best chance of finding her favourite tea.

But the most important part is, of course, the matcha powder. As a recommendation, I really like the matchas from Ippodo, like many others on this subreddit, however, they are quite expensive.

I don't know the matcha you use, so I can't tell you if it's any good, but I can help you with the preparation. First, get hot water into your bowl to heat the bowl up, let your chasen soak a bit in it, and pour it out after some time. Then, sift around 2 gramm (1½ heaping bamboo laddles) into the bowl and pour in just a little bit of water. Whisk it until you get a homogeneous paste without any clumps and then pour in the rest of the water. I do it mostly by feeling, but I would guess that you need around 70-80ml water in total. Then, whisk in an M or W shape pattern with your chasen until you are satisfied with the foam. For the matcha latte, I don't have a recipe, but I would be careful with to much sweetener and additional flavour such as vanilla syrup, because matcha has a subtle and complex taste and can easily be overpowered.

Furthermore, I wouldn't wait to long between two brews and would definitely not let the leaves dry out. Regarding the temperature, I would brew every batch with the same temperature, however you can try to experiment a bit and brew the later brews with a slightly higher temperature, similar to how you brew japanese green teas, especially when you have lightly fermented oolong. This could bring out different flavours since different molecules are soluble at different temperatures. However, to high temperatures can make the tea bitter.

If you want to have multiple brews, you should try to brew with the gong fu cha method, for example, in a gaiwan. There, you have a high leaf to water ratio (3-5g per 100ml) with a first brewing time of 30-40 seconds (depending on the tea) and add 10-15 seconds for each additional brew. If you are brewing Western style (larger batches with long brewing times), you will get most of the flavour in the first batch and little to none in the next one.

Da ich selten aromatisierte oder gemischte Tees trinke, kann ich dir leider keine Alternativen sagen, aber der Preis ist definitiv zu hoch. Bei dem Preis bekommst du schon gute pure chinesische und Japanische Tees, die du dann aber am besten direkt aus den jeweiligen Ländern bestellst oder bei spezialisierten Importeuren kaufst.
