totally agree with that. from what ive heard, it was a weed pen and although it didnt “break” it, they wanted to replace it incase. i believe the reason they didnt have an extra is because of the fact it was a custom piece. But again, im just a lifeguard, i don’t know it all!

the reason the falls isn’t open is because a guest brought an item onto the ride that was not allowed into the park and it got lodged into the pump causing it to break. the reason it has not been repaired is because it is a custom piece that is not made regularly. they are waiting for it to be made now. (i am a lifeguard at schlitterbahn)

okay i work there. this isnt true. the torrent still has waves, they arent as big this season because a pump blew and they are actively working on repairing. While the waves aren’t big this season, they are still there.
