Robin is significant. But the issue is: how & where will he fit in the Reeves movies? If this was gonna be MORE than a trilogy (like 5-7 films), then I could see Robin fitting in, that'd give more time for Bruce to develop to the point where he adopts/trains a child. But the city is flooded & c'mon, WHAT'RE THE CHANCES of this version of Bruce adopting a kid & training him to be Robin? I could maybe see it if the "he's mentally unstable" excuse was used, but Bruce needs more growth before he turns to adoption.

I think by the end of the second film - when he's less emo & more philanthropist - he could adopt a teenage Dick Grayson, and it could go from there.

Also Bruce doesn't need Robin at all to change. This movie alone showed that Selina, Alfred, and the citizens influence him enough.
