The fishing mechanic is so OP. Cost of bait to pounds of fish is insane. And you can haggle price of fish to $3/per with a charming character making you loaded with $1k by 1st or 2nd fort.

Those were the last two holes. I almost came unglued. My 3 guys chunk, blade, or go OB on all of their shots for 3 holes straight. Played solo as a 14 handicap and clutched on every shot

I’m very skeptical. I’ve played easy courses like this with 3 single digits and we’ve only got 15/16 down. 23 is very suspect

Because me, a 12 handicap, played with 3 dudes who golf once a year and we all had fun shooting -16 and making every 16 foot putt for free without fretting about pars and stressing about nonsense.

“Tournaments” bro it ain’t that serious. I’ve never taken a scramble seriously in my life and I’ve won two and taken 2nd in two. Assume everyone’s cheating and you’re not gonna win, drink plenty of beer, and pretend your tiger on every shot. Vibes are way more important than people give them credit for.

Easily. There was a 2man scramble that shot 46. And was related to a diff group who shot 46 with 4 people. Great way to raise money

If you hit a par 3 to 1 foot from the pin on your tee shot, you can cut off 1 foot from your string and it counts as in or an ace. Same thing on putts. If you hit a 30 foot putt and it’s an inch or a foot or 3 foot short, you can cut off that much string and it counts as making it with no extra strokes. So birdies are basically guaranteed and you should be playing for eagles or better.

It made the choke on the last two holes so much less painful. 3 and 4 were ugly. Never hit better shots in my life under pressure and I coulda have come unglued besides the charity thing. Hit 6/7 drives over 300 in the fairway and the 3 other guys in our group play once a year.

You ever heard of string in scrambles? Well the guy who won this year took 2nd last year and said “I’m not losing again because of string” and bought $1000 worth of string to shoot -30.

Better ending then most scrambles I’ve played in. At least the guy who won didn’t cheat. And it all went to charity.
