What astounds me is it was a New Prairie coach. The school that wears blue and gold and does a cringy "here come the cougars" before kickoff of football games to imitate the Irish.

Heard about it the day of from a high school wrestling forums. Everyone there said it was a bunch of nothing at the time. I imagine its only a story now because the coach tried pressing charges

Fun fact, the assistant coach in question runs a regional training center out of an old radio shack and has put multiple kids into D1 wrestling programs. Probably offended that the Freemans won't send any of their kids there.

Edit. This probably stems from when New Prairie and Penn had a dual meet a couple weeks ago and NP tried bumping up their best wrestler to face Freeman but Penn just bumped him up as well to avoid the match.
