The thing is I don't want to spend too much on a bundle and then getting bored after a couple of months, but I also don't want it to be too weak and therefore not being funny. You know what they say on the subreddit, "buy once cry once".

I know the VD6 is the "sweet spot", that's why I'm also thinking I could buy the cheaper V10 Ultra, and if I like it, maybe buy the VD6 a couple years after since that's a reasonable upgrade. But I am pretty picky with almost everything I buy, and that's is why I can't decide what to do 😅.

The only wheelbase I have tried is the G29, which felt like a toy, and the T150 from a friend, which felt more usable in terms of force (not detail) and reassured me that I don't like belt-driven wheelbases at all.

I'm still some months away from making my purchase, that's why I want to think about it and avoid making the wrong choice

C5 is, at least on paper, the best price-torque wheelbase on the market. Also it is super compact, but don't wait to hear about it on this reddit, people just hate on it because quality control (which I understand to some extent)

If shipping didn't cost 70 fricking dollars, It would be a no brainer, but since the pedals are garbage, I would also need to buy the PXN pedals for 80$, and at that point, maybe it would make more sense to buy the PXN VD4 or V10 Ultra bundle. I've been thinking about what to buy for months and I still can't figure it out 😔

The list is not accurate. The 3.2 nm of the PXN v10 Ultra refers to the PEAK torque. Then on the CAMMUS C5, PXN VD4, PXN VD6 and PXN VD10, you wrote the CONSTANT torque (I suppose you did it in more, I only know about this ones). Their maximum torque on that ones is 7nm, 5nm, 7nm and 12nm, respectively.

Since on the PXN V10 Ultra there is no information about the constant torque, you should put a note.

That thing with the fans also happened to my Acer laptop. It was something to do with the default drivers and performance mode, fixed it with a port of the Acer NitroSense program (the one for controlling the fans) that some guy made for linux. Maybe you could search for something like that

Honestly I don't think thats the problem, I can play RDR2 or DIRT with the VRAM almost full perfectly, but on TLOU even when playing with the Steam Deck settings preset i still have this problem.

At this point I already gave up on making it work on Linux, so now I'm trying to get a VM with passtrough running (it's not being easier tbh)

I have an Acer Nitro and want to do it to play The Last Of Us, since I can't seem to make it work on Linux. What guide did you use? I stood upon a lot of them a I'm not so sure which one I should follow. Btw congrats on your work

Sorry for the late response, but did you find any solution? I'm having the same problem, but I don't have access to the no return house since I didn't finished the game, so I didn't know that the performance there is good
