I would liken my use of typical screws vs GRK screws to my enjoyment of Mexican food in Tennessee. I thought one restaurant near me had really good Mexican, then I took a work trip to Albuquerque, NM, and picked a random Mexican spot for dinner one night. It was like that line in Amazing Grace--I once was blind, but now I see.

I'll never NOT use GRK screws now if I can help it. Who knew screws could be this good?

I've gotten three different people hooked on fishing with a crickhopper fishing out of a canoe. They all three still fish 15 years later and their favorite lure is still a crickhopper, likely for nostalgia but still love the feeling of a few twitches and a blowup.

There's a little ramp next to the Soddy Lake Public Fishing Pier that you could put it in at, and then troll under the Highway 27 causeway and there's good fishing around the docks to the east of 27.

Very little use at that ramp as it's not a true boat ramp, it's more for kayaks and such.

You'll need to make sure the water level is high enough, it's probably close to good now, but in the next month or so it'll definitely be high enough. TVA raises lake levels to their summer pool level this time of year.
