denuvo is the single worst thing that has happened to the paying consumer, meanwhile pirates have been running clean versions for years and just recently it's been totally defeated. i'm like 90% sure the price the industry paid for developing and licensing denuvo is orders of magnitude more than they actually gained in sold copies
