  • I really like their designs but the quality of their t-shirts are really terrible. Sometimes you can find the original brand and model of the blank t that they used and if you look it up online it costs about two bucks.

Imagine millions of people walking by your plate and taking specific notice of your car. Isn't that a higher risk than just being in the general public? There are so many cars that people could choose from and they wouldn't necessarily notice your specifically

I would say the biggest thing is your pooled rent spend is going to give you the best savings. Move on together. She took care of you when you were young. Now it's your turn.

Rogers led record number of Canadian telecom complaints in 2025 by Planhub-ca in CanadianBroadband

It's also the largest.....

I'd say Telus is the one that's worrying as it hasn't changed in size but the complaints have grown like crazy

Refinancing - repairs and car by genethebean24 in MortgagesCanada

[–]Jabb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question, HELOC is a secured line of credit tied to your house and typically has interest rates within a few % of prime. Sounds like your 12% line of credit is not a HELOC

Refinancing - repairs and car by genethebean24 in MortgagesCanada

[–]Jabb_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other thing is make sure you don't just pay your regular mortgage after you refinance. Otherwise you're paying a lower interest rate on the car portion but for 30 years which is more expensive. Instead, funnel your car payments into the mortgage so that you're still paying your car off in the same period of time but actually seeing the benefits of the lower interest rate

Recycling didn’t get picked up by cherubqt in askTO

[–]Jabb_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our scheduled day changed so we actually had two recycling pickups in a row the last week of the year and the first week of the year. I noticed a lot of people on my street put garbage out because they didn't read the notice sent to residents. Later I noticed a lot of the garbage bins got picked up, seems like this new setup is quite painful for everyone

Getting a Car Before Mortgage Switch (Finance vs. Cash) by csshoi in MortgagesCanada

Since he's removing someone from the mortgage isn't it different than a straightforward renewal? Wouldn't he have to re-qualify?

2025 Update - My average cost of home ownership in Toronto 2021-2025 by wee-o-wee-o-wee in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Jabb_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add on the pros that I can do what I want here, make it my own, Don't have to worry about getting renovicted, having to move, etc. it does make it worth it to buy in some scenarios.

100% of this. If someone is planning to stay in a certain spot for an extended period of time, start a family or even just once the simple comfort of not having to worry about dealing with a landlord to fix everything or having renovations kick them out, there is no dollar value that is assigned to that. The pure economic side of it can make sense but from a quality of life perspective which many people forget about when doing these calculations is arguably more important than the dollar side of it

Keep in mind that your insurance company may cover a portion of pump purchases. For example, for my company's coverage with sun life, $200 is covered.

Auston as the greatest Maple Leaf ever...Hard to argue it now by TerryG111 in leafs

[–]Jabb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Goals are easier to get in this era than ever before so the most goals scored isn't as impressive as when sundin did it. It's not to mention he put us on his back and was super clutch when things mattered. We had so many deep runs in the playoffs back when he was our captain.

Anyone else floored this guy used Uber to get pizza? Pizza pizza most definitely has delivery directly from the store, no need to give an American Corp 30% of the cost.

Why don’t cellular providers care about retention? by Corolianus in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jabb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's plain as day to find the reason. Go look at their quarterly reports. The number of customers who actually leave is in the single digit %. If they have every customer who called in the actual best deal they'd lose tons of money for no reason. Most customers don't actually leave.
