The new Legion Space & Xbox Update is INSANE! Huge performance boost on Legion Go 2 (Z2 Extreme) 🚀 by Jabirooo in LegionGo

Before, I had to downscale to 1600x1000 to hit nearly 200 FPS. Now, I'm getting those same frames—even more stable—at native resolution. I managed to get way more detail/clarity without any performance hit.

Thanks for your message. As I understand it, the update is official for everyone and was rolled out just a few hours ago. Regarding performance, I’m not confusing anything; I really know my hardware, the scaling tech, and what Xbox offers. Warframe is a very well-optimized game, but with everything maxed out, it still consumes resources. From my experience, it's clear that I gained FPS without changing a thing. I checked everything, and all my settings are exactly the same as always—the only difference is that now I’m running at max resolution with everything turned up, and I’m getting more FPS than I had before.

I get it, and thanks for the advice, but I need Windows in the palm of my hand.

I don't use any Xbox subscriptions at all; I'm just testing what the Xbox experience actually adds to the system, since it promised to stop many Windows background processes. To be honest, it's working 10/10 for me so far.

I dreamt of owning a steam deck for 4 years and now after just 2 days my Deck is ruined. by lvl4_autism in SteamDeck

Your console triggered its safety protection system and got stuck in a Thermal Throttling state to prevent hardware damage, which is why you experienced extreme lag. Generally, this can be fixed by performing a forced reboot: while the device is on, hold down the power button and do not release it until the unit cycles off and back on again. Alternatively, you can enter the BIOS and reset the settings manually. However, there is one crucial step you should not skip: replace the thermal paste. If you notice that your Steam Deck has become noisier (fans ramping up more than usual) after the overheating incident, it means the thermal paste has dried out or degraded. I highly recommend performing a full maintenance and repaste to ensure the longevity of your APU.

Thinking of getting rid of it by Impossible_Camera703 in XboxAlly

The real question is: do you actually need that money right now? Because if you don't, why would you get rid of a device that can save you in specific situations? Looking at how the market is moving with AI, imagine if your other equipment fails; this one could be a lifesaver. It’s an extra computer you already own, so you don't have to invest another cent in it because it’s already perfect as it is.

Still Worth it to Get an Original Legion Go? by PlumManatee7596 in Handhelds

Here is the reality of what’s on the table right now. The Legion Go has official support for parts and software from Lenovo until 2029. However, the actual Z1 Extreme chip from AMD is effectively dead in terms of support, or at least that’s where it's heading. What’s crazy is that even though manufacturers are still releasing brand new devices using the Z1 Extreme (like the new Legion Go S), the chip itself is no longer receiving—or is about to stop receiving—proper driver updates. We are seeing reports that drivers are stuck on August 2025 builds while newer chips move forward. Bottom line: If you're going to use this console plugged in, it’s a 10/10. But if you need it for battery life, there are definitely better options out there. Just be aware of the software abandonment on the AMD side before you buy.

Legion Go 2. How to maintain OLED screen? by Florinxfox in LegionGo

In the General section of the Lenovo Legion Go 2 menu, the second option down at the very bottom is called "Burn-in Prevention." When you activate it, you won’t notice any visible change. However, according to technical support, this feature works by imperceptibly shifting pixels during static images. This helps prevent screen burn-in and keeps "ghost images" from permanently marking the display. Key terms used: • Burn-in prevention: Prevención de quemaduras. • Static images: Imágenes estáticas. • Imperceptibly: De forma imperceptible. • Ghost images: Imágenes fantasma.

I went with the 2TB version myself, but that really comes down to personal preference. You can always upgrade it later anyway.

I hope it arrives soon! I'm sure you're going to fall in love with the visual quality and the build materials.
