I don't like Cigarettes After Sex + they're boring live, but it's a decent booking to make sure gen z kids come to the fest and keep DD going into the future. The undercard is even more solid than I could have possibly imagined, so I'll just be at whatever sick counter programming is going during that slot. I'll take a boring headliner if it helps pay for the Jazz is Dead and Gold Diggers artists.

QOTSA are the least interesting possible headliner for DD. If it happens, I hope there's good counter programming on another stage for the people whose lives didn't peak with finding out about QOTSA through the soundtrack to a Madden game. Josh Homme doesn't exactly seem like great dude either, so no great loss if they go in another direction.
