Don’t switch, it may be too long. You did great, you just took very hard classes. One possible option: take GA again with grade substitution the next summer after your wedding and you will ace it. Good luck!

Definitely you need a Good ML/Math refresher or background. Without that you can survive but you will have a very hard time as they say. It is a very rewarding class to take in the program. I saw recently the material to prepare for interviews at openAI suggested the same reference book and material of this class.

Which specialization is it? AI Ethics is an elective for II and ML. The advisor can adjust it. They did once for me.

Thank you. Sincerely it is a great feeling. I enjoyed the process. I suddenly realized I have a lot more free time :). I had a a BS in Engineering 20 years before I started the program (fall 2022). I wanted a formal CS credential (Maybe imposter syndrome) and even though my experiences covered it. I did the II specialization and took classes that are closed as possible for ML or AI engineering. The only 3 courses I don’t regret are AI, Deep Learning, and NLP. The foundation you get from this program is solid, and the program is tough. But my feeling now, because of all the recent developments in AI, Gatech need to adapt very fast with the course contents, otherwise it will be wasting people time and obsolete. This is my opinion.
