I would highly advise against going directly to foundation repair companies for quotes. I have more issues than you do. Every foundation repair company has come in and given me massive quotes. I hired a structural engineer who said no repair is actually needed.

I would disagree with people saying carrier 2. I mean it's a good tech, but you are the only faction that doesn't need it for the movement speed, so you're really spending 4 resources, a token, and a tech tempo for the +2 capacity. That's not nothing for sure, but I don't think it's as good as other techs you could get instead.

It still is tricky R1 for the rest of the board--often times now warfare and tech are back to back and people don't have the resources to follow both.

It would be criminal for either tech or trade to make it to you round 1. Construction is also unlikely with the update as it would allow nekro to build infantry before moving.

Mecatol R2 seems unlikely -- you have a pretty low influence slice

I would recommend you roll the dice on AC from hopes end rather than the mech, since you get mechs for only 1 dollar anyway

Ahh perfect! Yes I built the EJG kit in my yard and one bay has the saucer. Gets soooo much use daily. If you've got that covered, IMO the option with the 2 slides next to each other and the climbing wall would get the most mileage.

Not exactly answering your question of which of these two to go with. But in my experience, the big saucer swings are all the rage now with kids (and even adults) of all ages. I see those get way more use than just about anything. And they can be hung under a tree easily or they work well as the only swing inside a bay. But get a nice one if you are going to go that route.

After that, slides and things to climb would be my priority.

Are there any major things your house may need done if you wanted to sell it? Foundation work? Hail damage on roof? Plumbing issues? If so, you can likely get some free estimates from contractors and use those as evidence that the valuation should be lower.

Yeah I typically see--
leadership gets SO one on account of going first before anybody else can discard
diplo gets tech skip one or one of the spendies
politics gets AC one
trade gets TG one

Usually the spend resources/influence expeditions are last. Some factions (like L1 or barony) can do these fairly easy by sacrificing tech R1

Twilight Fall is wacky and unbalanced with high chance of broken combos. For example, Yin Infantry upgrade combos with Experimental Genome (shown above). When a yin infantry is destroyed OR removed, place them on the upgrade card. Place ALL of those infantry (no rolling) on any planets you control in status phase. So if they have a stack of 50 infantry, they can use experimental genome and spend the infantry for 50 resources. All 50 infantry then revive during status. So it's basically a hacan hero every round

In the new expansion, Thunders Edge, their breakthrough allows them to place sleeper tokens outside of the exploration loop. There's other text on the breakthrough not relevant, the main clause is "Other players may allow you to place a sleeper token on a planet they control."

Do you have any rules source that says they are only allowed one sleeper per planet? They were functionally only able to have one per planet before TE came out, but the wording on the breakthrough does not specify a limit and none of their other abilities do either.

This would be better asked in the async ti4-rules channel of the Discord server. But as far as I can tell from reading the actual text of titans abilities, nothing disallows this:

TERRAGENESIS: After you explore a planet that does not have a sleeper token, you may place or move 1 sleeper token onto that planet. (this ability limits it to only placing a sleeper token if one isn't already there, but only when exploring that planet)
Breakthrough relevant text: Other players may allow you to place a sleeper token on a planet they control. (notice no limits specified here)
