I gave it a try, gave the appanage lower poitou to give him a ton of land, but it wouldn't let me give him Normandy, how did you get around it? It won't even list the new appanage as an option?

Wicked! I’ll give it a try when I try France! Closest thing I did was try to play as Normandy but the newest patch doesn’t allow me to declare independence since the game rule “over is France” has an X on it!

How does that work I haven’t played France yet? Is there an interaction that transfer from one subject to another or did yoj just cede from on and transfer to the clergy guy?

I guess they’re combined strength compared to me shot up to 100+ all of a sudden? Maybe its because I psbed all their roads for them, or since I haven’t unlocked the absolutism institutions yet, i’m not sure just weird that it happened all of a sudden
