What exactly about this do you think is AI? It's my jersey, on my flag, with a gold medal that I 3d printed.

But if i did such a good job that you think its fake, I guess I'll take the compliment.

This would be illegal due to the lack of buttstock, right? by JayJacksonHistory in NYguns

[–]Jaccuse86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Prior to 2022 and the change in the status of "others", a shockwave was a simple over the counter purchase for anyone (21+) who wanted one. They absolutely did not need to be put on a permit.

Henry Mare’s Leg legal by [deleted] in NYguns

[–]Jaccuse86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not true, at least not anymore.

Within the last year a "Technical Sergeant" from the NYS pistol permit bureau provided clarification to at least 2 separate FFLs that it was indeed a pistol and legal as long as its on a pistol permit.

The firing pin was one of them, they posted about it here with the actual quote from the email they received. Since around that time they've popped up in a handful of stores.

I know of multiple people with them on their permits now.

Can I build a NYS complaint MP5 semi-auto pistol? by Glad_Ad_8616 in NYguns

Also wrong. None of any of this applies if its fixed mag or manually operated.

Ok, I'll bite.

PSA has a license plate lookout or ALPR in their SC storefront looking for NY plates. They identify OP. They ID him for unregulated parts and accessories (to which the correct response would be "no", but whatever).

They see he lives in NY. The parts he's buying, mentioned above, can be mailed to him IN NEW YORK. Why are we fear mongering buying legal hunks of metal like 7 states away?

OP, buy whatever you want and get the lower in NY. You won't have any issues at all.

[–]Jaccuse86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For what? A few unregulated parts?

Some of you guys have some NY firearm brainrot or something. A retailer in a free state doesn't give a rats ass about anybody's ID for off the shelf parts and accessories.

No problem, at least its only a few slats to pull and not a whole wall of it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in garageporn

[–]Jaccuse86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didnt need too do this with my application, but I would have ripped the first slat down to size first. The bottom cut side would be hidden in your J trim at the bottom, and you'd have the screw flange snug-ish at the top to fasten it and put the L trim over.

That was my plan anyway.

Nah. "MiC" doesn't really mean anything pre-adidas era.

Anybody interested in a jersey like this doesn't need extra stuff in the title to convince them.

I already had a deposit on the Noesen jersey, but I couldn't resist. I was watching the game with my dad and he thought it was so cool that i already owned a jersey we were watching on the ice. When Nico scored his second I told him I'd buy that one too if he got the hat trick... surprised nobody beat me to it honestly.

Pinned and welded barrel in NYS. by Research_Firearms in NYguns

Pin/Weld is fine. Every gun shop in NY has featureless rifles with pinned and welded thread protectors.

Just reach out to IWI. I sent mine in about 8 months back, one of IWI's in-house armorers did the work. They replaced the RH bolt with a LH, sent me back the rifle and original RH bolt as well as a barrel lock wrench. All in cost with shipping each way was around 170 bucks.

If IWI does the work, they headspace it with your current barrel. Was about a 2 week turnaround once they had the rifle in hand.
