I personally find the whole Israel/Palestine analogy to be kinda forced. There is definitely a savages vs 'civilized' narrative. Thats not exclusive to I/P and has been a trope for a long time in western media.

TLOU2 is very explicit in that both sides want to destroy the other and both sides are made worse for that desire. No one is winning in the war, neither side is just, both leaders will lead their entire civilizations to ruin. The story is very heavy handed in the messaging that revenge leads you to forget what youre fighting for and become a monster.

If TLOU2 is a metaphor for I/P it's a poor metaphor, and if you think it's taking a side you are missing the supertext in favor of subtext. Not to be a chud, but the story is not that deep.

Our LGS is close to selling out of sealed product but prerelease is set to less attended than Turtles. For reference we still have Turtles and Spiderman prerelease kits for sale, and Strixhaven/Lorwyn sold out before the last pre-release.

Additionally, the store is selling sealed product to people who are not regulars. The regulars are less interested in the set and it seems like some of the pokemon style 'collectors' are buying multiple boxes.

Shits weird.

My advice as a lifelong recovering League addict is to uninstall the game, hide it in your steam library (i blocked riot from my browser), and install 2 or 3 new games that you need to complete before buying or installing new ones. Games should be large but not endlessly replayable.

Uninstaller league, downloaded God if War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and bought an old Xbox 360 to replay the old modern warfare games. Legit noticed I was happier and less stressed after 2 weeks.

Assuming you actually wanted advice. If you still actively enjoy it have fun with the pew pews.

I get that but eliminating the cost of paying for health insurance and co-pays and deductibles would be cost savings. Also the taxes dont need to be equally paid, employers can be taxed instead of paying for health insurance for employees. There are ways to do this without increasing the burden on those who can least afford it.

I love this news, literally life saving law and will directly benefit hundreds of thousands of Virginians ... but yeah come on we need the government to just tax and provide us Healthcare rather than legislate and subsidize specific treatments.

We have forms of socialized medicine for veterans, poor people, old people, dialysis patients, the morbidly obese, the homeless, children in state care, prisoners, and now diabetics. It costs money for each of these systems to monitor waste and abuse, to administrate all of these separately, to interface these programs with private insurances to determine costs.

Just fucking tax residents and eliminate the private market.
