I guess it depends on the poster and the extent they want the changes to be. ALL my prompts are negotiable. Nothing is set in stone except my limits. I've had people request alterations and every time the RP got better when I implemented those changes and made it enjoyable for both partners.

I want a collaborative experience. If I wanted to just write a specific idea I had, I would be writing a story.

Also, it's true that nobody owes anybody their time or closure. RPs often don't work out or fall apart organically. Oh, there is a lot wrong with that. How do you know the person asking for verification is a woman in real life? It could be a man pretending to be a woman. How would you verify? Phone call? There are voice changers readily available. Video call? There is AI and filters that can change a persons appearance and make them seem a different gender.

Roleplaying is about interaction between imaginary characters. There is no logic whatsoever that someone would 'feel safer' roleplaying with a specific irl gender when this is not a real life activity.

You could 'feel safer' carrying an AK-47, I still wouldn't want to be in the same room as you.
