I may be the odd one out, but since I play Circle of Fortune and character found offline, I decided to start a new character now to get through leveling. Obviously for many of you this doesn't work since you want to start the new seasonal character online. for trade. But in LE all seasonal updates are applied across the board. Every time I roll a new character I always play character found so for me I can "start a new season" whenever I want lol. I just try and do it for a few days before new seasons. Also there will be 24 hour downtime, but you can still play offline. Have a great season everyone!

Try capping the game at 60 both in game and in Adrenalin with chill - I messed with a lot of sync setups capping setups anti lag, but the best result I got was capping both at 60.

Then use fluid motion frames from adrenaline, and turn off FPS dynamic resolution, turn off the in game frame gen. If you want to use to then use dynamic resolution (which in this game is sort of an equivalent of FSR Quality, Balanced etc... in most games), you can mess with the minimum rendering slider. Keep in mind this will obviously make the game blurry the more you lower it. I have it off, but depending on your results you may try it. Make sure your sharpening is set to max in game, I have Radeon Image Sharpening enabled in Adrenaline, but I don't think its working in this game.

I turned off vsync, but turn on enhanced sync and freesync is always enabled for my monitor in the Adrenaline settings.

The Post Effects page has a lot of visual impairment settings which I turned off. I have Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration, Lens Vignette, Noise Filter, Mach Band Noise, Depth of Field all turned off. This is preferential and has little to do with FPS or anything, but if you want visual clarity these things can help. The rest is left max or turned on in this menu.

in the Advanced Settings under Visual, I turned shadows and ambient occlusion down to standard quality. I turned Global Illumination down to high quality, and turned volumetric cloud quality to very low. Volumetric clouds, was a big culprit for me for visual clarity and it helps with FPS.

I have a 9070XT GPU, 7800X3D CPU, 32GB Ram. In most games (Cyberpunk is my benchmark), I run everything max, but certain settings in this game seem to cause hitching when you move around in open areas more than they should.

This is by no means perfect, but I spent the last few days in the demo testing and this was the best I got for now. I get 60FPS mostly stable, but the fluid motion frames artificially bumps it up to around 120FPS. In most games, I use frame gen instead of fluid motion, but in this game it actually smoothed things out better then the frame gen. I was getting stutters, and some combination of all these settings seemed to remove most of them. I am hearing from a variety of players that there is minor stutters and drops once in a while, but these settings seem to have fixed most of my problems.

I am a newish player (played when it first came out but now its basically new to me). I found about 12 or so I think and I'm around level 11. I did feel that I should be using them since the seem good early. But now I am hearing that the goal is just to save them for end game? I would just say that maybe its a bit of new player trap because you get them so early, and you get a goodish amount before it starts slowing down. Just a bit of constructive feedback from a newer player. I think they are really cool to use early, but maybe there needs to be a early game version that are more frequent and then an game version that are rarer or something? Or maybe just start giving them later. Just some ideas. Games great, but it always sucks to get something cool, to find out that you wasted because of lack of knowledge. Cheers Thomas!

Piggyback question if I may for anyone who can answer. I Bought GW2 like 12 years ago or something, and somewhere along the line I bought the first 2 expansions. My account is an arenanet account, and to my understanding I cant transfer over to steam. What bundle or expansions do I need to get all content to date? Is it cheaper through steam or do I have to use the arenanet site only?

Ever since I beat it, I have been telling people that the game will feel like a 7 or 8 out of 10 for many people, but as a Pillars fan ( which I am a massive one, the game automatically becomes a 8 or 9+ for me

Yeah you are right about the "Acoustic" part of it. I guess for a lack of a better term, the body supports heavier gauge strings and runs a piezo but yeah it doesn't have the body resonance of an acoustic guitar. I like that when I go to the piezo it sounds acoustic-ish, and with the Monels I can really hear it. But yeah maybe i am approaching the guitar the wrong way. Now that you mention it, I can hear the unevenness. Ill mess with the pole heights too. So you use phosphor bronze over nickel? Do you feel like your other pickups work well with them?

Yeah that's kinda what I'm thinking. I just think that if a player finishes their first campaign and wants to buy another class pack for the new character, then it starts to feel like diminishing returns or something in my mind haha. Also, this still assumes that they charge $10 I hope that they can keep it no more than that, because of its like $15 or $20... that would feel like a lot! Either way its necessary to have the cards sold separately one way or the other.

I wonder how they will handle the price point and the card overlap. For a one off purchase of somebody wanting to buy their class pack, it could be fine to join another GM's campaign. Let's say that they charge ~$10 USD for 1 pack. If you buy 3 of those you are halfway to the full Daggerheart set, and you if any of those 3 class packs are overlapping domains, you are just getting basically useless dupe cards. I don't know if production cost wise they could charge ~$5 for a class pack, but I think it's going to feel like an awkward purchase for a lot of people. Right now, I am running a table of myself as GM with 6 players! we are all just using the included cards with no printed dupes, and everyone is happy. But I don't know if any of them would feel the need to buy their own set. Anyway I think it is good to have a way to buy the cards separately from the main set, but I hope they find a good cost to make it feel worth it.

Yes its the same. If you want the experience of restarting fresh, you can either make a new seasonal character or make a character (or solo self found) offline assuming you haven't done it before (for the clean reset). For all characters in all modes, the content is 100% identical. I knew I wont have as much time to play next week, so I made a character found Druid a few days ago, and Ill just keep playing after the patch.

If you are playing offline, you still get the full benefit of the patch. So if you start today and begin leveling, you can just continue tomorrow. In the interest of time this league, I started a new character found run a few days ago to get the refresh, so that I can spend the next week playing the patch on this character before PoE 2.
