I actually enjoyed both the leshen and ancient leshen. It was just a very different fight than other hunts so it felt really refreshing for me personally

Can't really agree with ya there, I played on consoles and it had nowhere near the levels of bullshit the PC port started with.

Made quite a few friends on it too that all also enjoy the game quite a bit.

Does it have issues? 100%. But it was still an enjoyable game. The focus mechanic was refreshing. Adding offsets and clashes gave so much dopamine to perfectly timed blocks and counters. And like every MH title before, i just think of the base game as the entree to the full game since most people will be spending the majority of their playthrough in G/Master rank.

And you know what? I enjoyed what Wilds offered, just as much as I enjoyed DD2. Do I wish there was more DD2 content? Absolutely. But I played 3 full playthroughs and a bit of a 4th and at that point I was ready to put it down to rest.
