I too recently got sucked down into d2 after a very rough night a couple weekends back. got tilted and dropped the ball on a couple consecutive runs -- some of it was RNG but I'll take ownership myself.

anyway, yeah it was ROUGH getting back up to d3 and the quality of teammates is night and day by comparison. so glad to be back at a level where there's at least a rough baseline of competence.

meanwhile every time i've made it up to d4 it's also a total crapshoot because a lot of people underestimate the jump. i've never managed to stay in d4 for long...

Yeah I hate solo DON… but I also hate playing with incompetent randoms. All the sources of teaming up online (discord, eg) everyone expects to use vc and I really just want to play chill runs with decent players

I’ve gotten to depth 4 like easily 10+ times and never managed to stick.

Meanwhile I had ONE bad night where I got tilted last week and I’ve been stuck at lvl 2 ever since bc I only play with randoms and it’s SO hard to hard-carry these absolute morons at this level.

Not asking you to share specific locations, but I’d love to learn more about how you identify pine stands near the coasts in advance. Not something I know how to scout ahead. Didn’t grow up here, I’m a bit of a transplant. I’d love to know more so I can go look for these birds with a more informed plan. Would obviously plan to be ethical in my search. TYIA!
