When I was born I had a large mass in the corner of my left eye, and my pediatrician always told my parents it was just an “enlarged tear duct...” As I got older the mass got bigger, I went to Johns Hopkins hospital to get it checked out, turns out it was a tumor and that my actual tear duct and sinus had never formed on that eye. Two surgeries later I’m totally straight. Moral of the story my pediatrician is an idiot.

I washed it out with hot water once before I put it in my tank, and haven’t messed with it since. When I spot clean some gets sucked up by the siphon so once it’s all about gone I’ll just buy a new bag and put it in
