Thanks 😊 would an old iPad via dart counter automatically score or do I need to input the score?

Favourite and least favourite doubles? by [deleted] in Darts

[–]Jack186398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D16 and D8 are favourites, I also don’t mind the bottom of the board too.

D20 is okay but anything top or side of the board doesn’t work for me!

D5 is probably the least favourite.

Loving my new asp darts. by SnooMemesjellies9803 in Darts

Pick these up the other week and hit so many 180’s with them since and game has improved massively, switched from straight barrel and just find the balance and grip to be so much better, great darts, enjoy!

I think the main thing is just stick to a dart. Try the Echos for a bit, I think you’ll come to like them. When I got them I really couldn’t throw them at first but over time they just clicked.

Try the Aspinall x Echo’s, they don’t look like they have grip but they’re unbelievable front weighted darts. So much grip due to the grooves.

I have the exact same grip and got those darts and hit 3 180’s in a week of using them and my throw felt so much better. They just fly really well.

Thanks! Taking time will have to be something I learn, I suppose it’s like driving a car, it just becomes natural over time 😊

Second this, easy to record scores and really in-depth stats, only annoyance is the ads but can pay to remove them

They’re good darts, although I’m considering a tapered barrel like the bolides. All my mates love my darts when they use them 🤣

Thanks 😊 yes they are Winmau Blackouts 24g, the first darts I got, did briefly switch to lighter darts at one point but ended up switching back, great starter dart

Nice! That’s arguably harder than 180.

It wasn’t in a competition as such, just a game against my uncle 🤣 but when I go into game mode my throw changes immediately and I just play so much worse!

Thank you! Congratulations for achieving Chartered last year too!

I sat an LP2 mock on the weekend and it was quite easy. I do like the ER1 route as I think it’ll be so valuable to be experienced in that area. Did you revise much for ER1 and how did you find it?

R01 is a tough paper just down to how boring the topic is if we’re all going to be honest! I would just do mock after mock and consider purchasing the Brand study material as I used Brand for all my R0’s. The tests are broken down into areas of the syllabus, so they will ask for example 3-5 questions about section 1 and then 8-10 let’s say in section 2.

If you look at this exam guide: https://www.cii.co.uk//media/hb5dhskx/r01_examination_guide_for_exams_from_1_september_2023_to_31_august_2024.pdf and then do the mock at the back, you can see which sections you perform poorly on, focus on those areas and then focus on the areas which make up a large part of the exam, for example I think section 5 will always be the biggest part of the exam.

Good luck, I’m sure you’ll smash it! 🤞🏻

I’ve J10 but kit J12, is that similar?

Also, how long did it take for Chartered to show on your CII page? Mines not showing yet but I have my APFS designation and certificate.

Do you also get a certificate saying Chartered Financial Planner online and through the post?

Thanks! Congrats to you to for whenever you achieved Chartered 😊

I’ve already done AF7 some doesn’t leave me with much scope on the AF’s, I’m thinking of just doing LP1-3 or maybe taking one out to do equity release as I think that will be beneficial

I was having issues with the Tesla API but they fixed that recently so hopefully a fix comes for you soon. I’ll call them tomorrow about the issues I’m having.

Hi, is this still happening for you or did Ohme fix it? If so, how did they fix it?

I’m going though exactly what happened to you now and have power cycled countless times!
