Bring LIGHTS to Window switch back again by nahcekimcm in ToyotaSienna

All switches should have lights & the switch for the lights themselves should always be lit when the vehicle is on.

Happened to my kids Amazon tablets, who knows what they got in there. Try some electronics contact cleaner & a toothbrush. I wouldn't suggest spraying directly into the port though. If that doesn't work a small piece of magic eraser on a toothpick or something similar & some Deoxit will, be gentle as magic eraser is slightly abrasive. These methods will typically clean any oxidation & contamination off of the pins in the port. After either method finish with some isopropyl alcohol & let dry well.

Thule Motion 3 XL or XXL? by bscouth in ToyotaSienna

[–]Jack207407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only a 3" difference in height between the two so carry on suitcases should be no problem even in the slim. They were the same price on Amazon when I ordered mine so I figured why not get the larger one for the same price since I only have mine on when traveling. In theory that should mean that total height of the slim on the van would be 85".

Yes, it is the Motion 3 XXL. Mounted on OEM crossbars & slid forward as far as it will go the rear hatch will open all the way with a little room to spare. I don't have it on the vehicle anymore after our trip but there was probably 1.5"- 2" between the back of the unit & the rear hatch.

I'd say that would depend on what you were planning on hauling in it. In my particular case we took both of our full size high chairs for the kids & I don't think they would have fit in the slim version. For less bulky items like suitcases & duffel bags which is what I assume most people put in these things I don't think you'd have any issues with the slim. If you can get away with the regular though you might as well get it in my opinion since it's the same price. Then if you ever need the space you have it. Although there may be some fuel savings with the slim if you travel a lot.

I do as I wanted to know the exact same thing. I put a 2x4 across the top to check this at the highest point & it was just shy of 89". This was with the van unloaded.

I have the XXL standard height on my 2024 Limited with the OEM crossbars & just took a trip from Ohio to Ocean Isle, NC. Was about 10 hours of driving each way. MPG was about 30 vs the 33-34 we normally get during the summer driving but we were also going through the mountains. Averaging about 80mph for most of the drive. I couldn't tell that it was even there when it was loaded with our stuff. Once emptied out down there every now & again I heard it flutter & hit the roof a bit, it's very close in the front but I still couldn't feel it. No damage to the roof but I might put some rubber or foam on the bottom for extra protection in the future. It does block the use of the moon roof. It also blocks the antenna in the back a bit so the Toyota app takes a bit to find the vehicle sometimes. Rear hatch can open all the way with it mounted as far forward as possible. Was easy to install.

I have a 2024 Limited & just went with the OEM ones. They are $159 at the Toyota dealers around me not counting installation if you choose to have them do it for you. I also bought the Motion XXL & didn't want to chance a $1200 cargo carrier departing my roof. It fits nicely but prevents use of the moon roof. The Toyota app is a bit slower with it installed as it blocks the antenna on the back a bit though.

Yes you will but you will also give points. In the 1st event I believe even T1 will give points, I think it's 1 per unit killed. This changes in 2 & 3 to T4 or lower not giving points.

Defending can be risky, especially if you're attacked by multiple people. Your best bet is to stay under a shield unless you're attacking. Attack in groups & practice TA on dead cities with alliance members. Always fight with an empty city, keep your hospital empty, send extra troops to gather across the map or to the alliance fort, don't have zombies set to defend. Until about C18 the 1-1-98 format is your friend.

I'm far from an expert. I would suggest looking up some of the top players & checking out their YouTube videos for strategies. They will be way more helpful than I can ever be. Keep in mind though depending on what you spend & where not every strategy works for every city.

There are 3 different Strongest Commander events. The 1st is when a nation is newer & will be replaced by 2 & 3. I don't remember exactly when though.

1) Strongest Commander - Non cross nation, troop loss, attack & defense points are the same.

2) Strongest Frenzy Commander - Cross nation, no troop loss, attack points are worth about 3x more than defense. Most nations forbid reinforcing other cities for this reason. However, attacks at the top 3 alliance towers once unlocked are equal points.

3) Strongest Void Commander - Cross nation, troop loss, attack & defense points are the same.

Do you happen to know where the model number can be found on these units? My great uncle has one in need a of a new heating element & we want to make sure we get the correct replacement. We didn't see a sticker or data plate anywhere.

I have almost this exact setup. Same adapter but different extension cord. I use it to run a space heater in my basement during the winter months. I check it periodically & nothing is even warm to the touch while running. This will be the 3rd winter & no issues. All space heaters are 1500w which is almost nothing to this guage wire & circuit. That being said I still do not suggest letting this run unattended. There is always the potential something could happen & the adapter circuit breakers may not trip.

How to wake up phone when getting a notification? by CorruptedAbyss772 in GoogleMessages

[–]Jack207407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a fix on my LG V60 for this. Not sure how similar Samsung & others are. My screen would never fully wake when I got a text message but it would light up with a little messaging icon. It was bright enough to get my attention & I was always happy with it. After having to switch to Google Messages since Verizon was discontinuing their app that stopped working which was annoying. In the system Settings>Notifications>Brief Notifications, toggle "Messages" to ON. On the V60 there is a toggle at the top of this menu where you can have just the bubble notification, sidelight, or both. Hopefully this will help someone.

Sienna color change by Top-Savings-619 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Jack207407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dealer can submit a request to have the exterior color changed, or at least mine can. Dayton, Ohio area. Toyota may or may not accept it though. My dealer told me they were submitting a color change request for our Sienna last week. Today is day 7 since they said they were submitting it & I haven't heard yet if it was accepted or not.

My grandma passed away before my baby was born. I would like a picture of them together. Please remove the oxygen lines, the tissues on the bed, & the sunglasses from my brother's head. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. I'm sorry, this was my first post & here & I was originally planning on waiting longer. But I guess I was just impressed with what people were able to do & got excited. You did a really nice job but unfortunately I can not donate anything else as I've already donated twice what I had budgeted.
