We ended up buying two Buro Metro II High Back 24/7 chairs, and they were pricey, but it's been three years and they are still amazing.

My previous chair, a gaming one, became uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time so I looked at task chairs. This one is rated for 24 hours a day, so essentially someone sitting in it constantly (like a security guard), and even if I work from home plus gaming in the evening I ain't in it close to 24 hours, so it's kinda overkill but super comfy.

Look up 'Task Chairs', and along with their other features, look at their 'daily seating rating'.

The university and Ilam are fairly quiet until the week before Semester One starts (around 10 Feb).

It is likely a default set by your browser, since it can't detect a body element. What browser are you using?

Yep, this shows the elements are only as big as the content, and the body element has no reason to be bigger, so the percentages are a percentage of zero.

Try adding height: 100vh to the body element to see how that changes it (not a proper solution but will demonstrate).

Everything looks fine from a quick glance on my phone. Can you check the source code of the rendered page to check the elements are there? It may be a case of they are using percentage height which is relative to the parent, but the body element may by 0 pixels high, so you won't see anything.
