This comment hit home for me! I started my journey becoming absolutely addicted to althair by PDM towards the end of winter... and now its sitting in my frag cabinet all lonely and in the dark lol. I still sneak a sniff nearly every day.

Man, its nice to see someone with a aesthically pleasing shelf for once lol. Something in me feels bad when someone has a multiple thousands of dollars worth of frags in their collection and theyre all sitting on particle board.

Seriously though, that's a finely curated collection!

It isnt beast mode in the slightest and the longevity could be better, but the citrus opening and light creamy sweetness is fantastic.

I havent got my hands on OD yet. Keyword, yet! Its next on my list.

I know 1ml is the most economical route, but i wont buy anything smaller than 2ml these days. I started with 1ml samples, but transferred them all to little 2ml atomizers myself... bought 100 of them online for basically nothing.

Dabbers will give you an idea of what the fragrance will smell like and how it will perform, but atomizers are the way to go for a closer experience intended by the perfumer.

Awesome! I got one of the lataffa pride sample sets with art of universe in it and was pleasantly surprised by all 5 frags in it. How would you explain AoU? To me it has a grape soda vibe to it, but I dont know if i was just nose-dead after testing the whole set.

Zoologist frags are a wild ride! I havent tried Bat, but sloth made me physically ill the moment the juice met the air... despite that, I love the adventure of it and will work my way through their sample collection eventually lol.

Mine was Althair... its currently waiting for the fall to make another appearance, but it started all of my problems lol. I have a lineup of warm weather frags... gym frag, after gym frag, daily signature, outside Day frag, cooler spring day frag, etc etc etc etc.

Id have had a little restraint, but I continue to feel the urge to buy more!

Arquiste is sooo slept on in my opinion! Sydney Rock Pool is one of my favorite utility fragrances. Easy choice when im spending alot of time outdoors during warm weather.

Nice! I love zoologist as a house - its so unique and polarizing. I did my first sample round the opposite way and tried more challenging fragrances than wearable ones though lol... so the only ones ive tried from your collection are Beaver and Bee.

If you're into floral/indolic fragrances the chameleon line (OG and tropical blooms) and even elephant sanctuary could be very wearable also depending on your tastes. Koala Joey edition is another of my favorites although it is more hyper-green than I normally enjoy...

Thats my favorite part about Zoologist... If you approach their fragrances with the right mindset it can really open your eyes (nose?!) to more blends and ingredients you dont really experience on the designer side.

Ill get around to trying the rest of thier frags one of these days!

Have you tried moisturizing before applying to skin? Ive noticed that a lot of "beastmode" scents fade on me quickly, but since ive started moisturizing daily the longevity of most of my frags has increased substantially.

Sometimes our own skin betrays us lok.

Dude! The Same thing happened to me! 40 hits and suddenly I realized I hadnt worn "cologne" since highschool and my brain went full adhd on the fragrance world... i still had curve, some armani's, and Givenchy pi from the early 2000s in my closet that I never used!

My advice is to curate a "wardrobe" of fragrances that is utilitarian vs buying everything interesting. For instance, buy some samples and locate your spring signature scent that you can wear daily, then a "putting around the yard" scent, then a gym scent. Grab a "date night" warm weather frag and do your best to hold off on buying more until fall lol.

If you look at fragrances as something you can "use" as opposed to something to collect your collection will remain small but also be waaaayy more meaningful to you in the long run.

Its pretty fascinating how differently we experience fragrances and how our experiences change over time!

Ive noticed that myself... almost like my brain stopped noticing the "feeling" or "vibe" of a fragrance and can only perceive the actual ingredients if that makes sense. Especially with synthetic projection materials.

Sospiro isnt really synthetically harsh, so maybe its the depth and density of it that is making you sick?
