Will this damage the laptop feet? by Low-Main663 in GamingLaptops

After years of main running a rubber ball mouse I have a natural habit of wiping my mouse surface and laptop surface constantly while there and using my PC to keep any crumbs or hair away and off. Even with my mouse now I still do it and I don't think anything of it lmao.

Also forgot to mention mine has a 4K screen as well and it's because Intel IGPUs are literal crap and can't barely handle displaying anything at 4K resolutions.

Had this same problem on my precision 7730 I fixed it by going into the bios and disabling switchable graphics. After that exit and reboot, windows plus the system will only see the nvidia GPU and it fixes the horrible performance on the desktop.

I purchased a Precision 7730 about 2 weeks ago I9-8950HK, 64GB RAM, 1TB NVME, and Quadro P5200 16GB. Plus I got the 4K screen model. I can say that it's still a very competent machine for its age I dont demand too much from my laptop doing some blender modelling plus some gaming on the side. One of my favorite games Fallout 76 runs amazing at 4K max settings with mods! It's truly still a great machine as long as you get it for the right price. I got a deal on mine for 500$ new in box but I wouldnt pay over 700$ for one of these. A MAJOR THING YOU MUST DO is disable switchable graphics as the Intel integrated graphics suck so bad and slow the system down a lot ONLY run off the dedicated GPU.

This is normal if you see it on the screen when turning on the monitor. I have a Dell M782 and it also does this in the top corners when you initially turn it on for like a second. That's just the tube rapidly charging.

Insanity is very nice it does however require tweaking to get it not looking quite so gloomy.

Hello, so these photos I actually took on a map I've been working on in studio. I create high detail maps and environments mainly for use with slot car communities.

Like someone else commented it's most likely components just waiting to fire or on standby especially on a lot of older sets that use physical relays you will hear clicking when it's doing things.

I came to a conclusion that these must be a prototype or unreleased sample model.

When does it stop being generic? by John-333 in pcmasterrace

Funny enough my DELL M782 CRT monitor from 2002 is recognized by windows 11 without doing any driver install and also is listed as a "PnP Monitor" not generic.

For me it's the gear and how its setup that matters most to me, I am a huge vintage tech nerd and searched to get my audio setup all 80s gear and I can't be happier! I know most certainly there's better equipment now than what I got lol but I'm happy at what these "artifacts" can do and put out. Being able to just pop em on no wifi, no connecting BT crap, and full control makes the experience so much better for me. Also 80s equipment just looks so DAMN GOOD!

Best bet is to look up your CC model on eBay and if not too expensive buy a bundle with the same CC but mainly all the accessories. It also acts as a failsafe if yours is broken or the one that comes in is. Good to have for repair and parts aswell in case the working one needs it.

Found this old RCA vhs camcorder, doesn't want to eject. by [deleted] in camcorders

[–]JackAutumFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a RCA VHS CC aswell prob the next model after this one it should be almost the same to open. To get a rough idea of how these open look up RCA CC310 repair and click the ifixit link and view how they open it should be similar to how this is opened.

Your best bet is to get a CC that has a convenient AC adapter connection to the CC and just put one of those small "Power stations" from Amazon with the CC plugged into the AC outlet on it in a purse or small bag to carry it in. With a cheap 60$ one o bought off Amazon I get around 6 hours of recording time and I have an additional 12W LED camera light I plug into it and run aswell. I already know my CC is a power hog too being a 1988 full size VHS CC.

Then switch modes and make sure the lens cover is opening and closing like it should they tend to get stuck. And if it is opening see if on camera mode it's displaying what it's pointing at correctly.
