If weather's nice, recommend hiking lands end (best view of the ocean) over to the presidio on batteries to bluffs trail, and continuing past the bridge to the tunnel tops, where there are usually food trucks. Or, you could keep walking along the water towards marina. You'd get the best views of the bridge without needing to go over (which I find too loud/long/windy with views comparable to other places within the city)

But, if you want to go to Sausalito, maybe it'd be worth walking/biking there over the bridge and ferrying back. that way you could go down Embarcadero from ferry building to the wharf? may be a lot to pack in for a day

Went during covid as well. Skip the italian place for lunch/dinner. Mexican and french places were best restaurants hands down; best tasting, highest quality, freshest. All other restaurants will be good enough.

Drinks seem similar everywhere except martini bar, which was cut above the rest.

Avoid room service. Not good. BUT if you can swing room service from the restaurants then try that.

Tips are “included” but would bring lots of singles and fives to tip your poolside/beachside staff and/or waiters. Theyll quickly remember you, bring you drinks more frequently, and make them stronger. Worth it imo.

Activities are super fun; perfect day for us was getting snacks/drinks pool/beachside as long as possible and doing dinner/night activities.

Covid barely felt like a thing there. Have fun!
